We journalist are sometimes wrong, even our sources mislead us (which has happened to me more than once) or we exaggerate a lead (something I try to avoid as much as possible). The problem withj Sutcliffe is that he tends to completely make up things in order to "be the first" and his common sense is so badly calibrated that he usually misses by a mile. Check out his blog and see how many times he has been wrong. It's astonishing. http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/blogs/?name=John_Sutcliffe&cc=7586

if barrera has failed so miserably in europe i can't see aquino having any more success. barrera was playing much more impressively than aquino before he left.

    Re: Update: Carlitos Vela

They started off strong but sank throughout the season. They are a point behind Real Sociedad.

I rather aim higher than Betis if I was Vela.

    Re: Update: Carlitos Vela

I want see him in the Europa league or the Champion's league. Malaga better buy him since they are the only ones with as much money as Real Madrid and Barca. I say that since Vela was probably the second best left winger in the Spanish league after well... I hope you know otherwise you didn't follow the league enough.

Anyways at Betis him and Ruben Castro could tear it up and possibly end up as one of the best partnerships in the league, they could become the new Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan.

Espanyol could also be looking to get Vela and Gio to get a monopoly on the Mexican market. To be honest there would be a ton of Mexicans who would watch Espanyol just because of those three there. I'd even change my reddit flair to Espanyol if that happened and that says a lot.

I still can't believe Guardado is still 25, and knowing he still has a few much better years ahead of him.

Terrible moves for both Vela and Ochoa. Why would Ochoa go from one relegation team to another?

I think Guardado was recommending Ochoa for the La Liga in general not necessarily for Deportivo...

Top of the article says Guardis is about to make his transfer to Valencia official. You've got to assume he's recommending Memo to Valencia and not a team he's leaving lol

    Respuesta: Re: Transfer Rumors

Fue en una entrevista para el sitio de la Liga BBVA, me supongo que lo está recomendando para la liga en general, no para un equipo en especial.

This guy passed on a 13 million bid from udinese according to harry.....i cant see him going there to facilitate any spurs dealings. Hes probably willing to hold out til the contract expires for La Liga.

Both Udinese and Lille are basically fighting for 3rd in their respective leagues....i cant see that happening if he denied one already.

If they can't afford Adebayor's salary, Hazard's will be even more.
