yeah please do. They better have a Roma supporters section. I hope it's not just me sitting by myself with a roma scarf
found these photos from the last soccer game at fenway... i want tickets on top of the green monster!
pass by it everyday on the way to work. traffic's already bad enough as is there. commute's going to be even worse in the future trying to drive through taxis, tourists, fans, and the whatnot who's moving there anyway? knicks? islanders? rangers? all 3? i heard something on the radio about islanders, but i wasn't particularly paying attention
Wouldnt be bad to watch a derby in New York. "Roma hits diamonds AS Roma will compete at least twice in baseball stadiums this summer. Roma, acquired by respective Red Sox and Celtics part-owners Thomas DiBenedetto and James Pallotta last April, will meet Liverpool at Fenway Park July 25 and SS Lazio at Yankee Stadium July 28. Organizers are considering designating the match a tribute to the late Giorgio Chinaglia, who starred for Lazio and the New York Cosmos. Chinaglia died April 1." http://articles.boston.com/2012-04-...harvard-soccer-cape-verdean-harvard-stadium/2
The only team moving there oficially is the NJ Nets. Now the Brooklyn nets. Lots of spec for the Islanders to move there, however I think they will head to Quebec
just found out tickets to the roma-liverpool game in boston are priced between $40-$150. i'll be buying mine tomorrow through an insider at fenway, but i believe they go on sale to the general public on april 28.
got this seating chart when i bought my tickets. apparently, tickets go on sale to as roma fans tomorrow, but i'm not quite sure where or how... will let you know if i find out.
i doubt you can get them at the fenway ticketing booths... (i have an in with the fenway ticketing group, and even they are kind of in the dark right now) here's what i've been able to find out so far... according to http://lfctour.com, "Tickets for the Boston match will go on sale on Saturday April 28 with details of how to buy tickets available at www.lfctour.com next month." according to as roma's twitter feed, tickets were supposed to go on sale today, but as of this moment, there have been no further mentions of it. here's the tweet... "AS Roma fans, stay tuned. Presale to fans starts this Tuesday (April 24) for Roma-Liverpool at Fenway Park. Info to follow! #asroma" the liverpool - tottenham game in baltimore has exclusive VIP seats available for an extra $100 a ticket, but i can't get an answer regarding whether they'll be available for the boston game as well. regardless, i got my two front row tickets at midfield on top of the green monster, so i'm happy as can be. ;-) if they're selling vip tickets, i may buy two of those, take the vip passes and sell the tickets on the side.
i just looked on twitter, and apparently fans ARE getting tickets from the fenway park ticketing office. nicky, if you could go and find out more info i'd love to hear what you can find out!!!
just called the ticketing office and they told me tickets are on sale now for red sox season ticket holders and liverpool fan club members... roma fans have to wait until saturday... basically, all the premium seats will likely be gone by then, purchased by liverpool fans... WEAK! also, no vip seats like the ones available in baltimore.
Ok thanks. I know there's a Boston Liverpool Fanclub here. I'll go this upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday most likely. I'm going to try to get several, maybe 5-6, in the Roma section and I'll let you know what I find out.
you can buy tickets NOW at http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/ticketing/footballatfenway.jsp password is "branches"
Must spread rep. I got mine... Section B157 Row LL Seats 15-17 Seats were $30, $40, $50 or $60. We got the $60s and there was a $5 fee per seat and another $5 fee for the order so $60x3 + $5x3 +$5 = $200.
Oooohhh... I'll have to bring a straw and some spitball making materials. Have you been to Fenway before?
