It's kind of the same deal though as the NY Giants and Jets, who play in New Jersey.

Why would they use a 6200 seat arena for the Pasl pro they dont get that many fans to see a game

Why do the Blast play in a 11,000 seat arena? Why do the Wave play in a 9,500 seat arena? Why do the Silver Knights play in a 6,500 seat arena?

You might want to rethink your question.

I don't know about the Knights but there are quite a few times per year the Blast can fill their arena up and the Wave can fill theirs up at times too....

Except for, you know, neither team has ever had a sellout in their current arenas.

Still hate them, but I'm glad they are back...

Now if we can get La Raza back... we would be in business... I really miss those road trips north

78 in Tacoma looks much better than 5,950 in Baltimore any day of the week

the Blast have played in the same arena since they came to baltimore , but 6200 seat arena for 1100 fans at the most thats just nuts

I agree baltimore needs to be in a smaller seat arena

Ever is a bit of a strong word because the Wave did report a sellout at the Cell.

As for the Blast, it's been a while but they've done it a few times. I'd consider 10,000+ a sellout for them considering how many obstructed/bad seats they have - still a nice atmosphere though...

The Sidekicks used to draw sellouts and 8,000+ in the '80s, too. Thank you for making my point.

    This is what u said
I just dont see how the sidekicks will get the fans to fill the arena the operating cost is a lot less in the PASL and they wont be able to afford the advertising like they did back in the day . I dont think the Pasl gets more then 1,500 fans at any game so just by adding the Sidekicks what makes u think they will get 4 x that amount of fans in the arena ?

if they do get that type of fan base it should top your attendance records in the first 6 home games

Is the Allen, TX for sure going to happen and is it definitely PASL?

Syd: Is the PASL trying to upgrade to bigger and better? Basically, I mean are they moving towards larger arenas/budgets and away from rec centers and shoestrings?

    Anything on St. Louis? Anybody?

The MISL is not doing much of anything until after its Board of Governors meeting next month. Sigh...

The PASL was conceived as a league to play in 2,000+ seat arenas, but economic realities haven't always made that possible.

I think in small and various ways we have raised the standards of professionalism league-wide each year. Sometimes it's been two steps forward, one step back, but there is an upward progression.
