even worse is how he played last night. pitiful. except for n'koulou and mandanda no one was really good with a capital G but ayew was woeful, feckless, hapless hopeless, lazy, selfish... worse than morel. after that hoeness must be fuming that someone who can put in an effort like that in a champions' league match would have the unmitigated cheek to even dream about playing at bayern.

Ribery was expecting to be welcomed like a hero at Marseille. He's suffering from Alzheimer's ? Does he need someone to remind him of his "transfer" at Lyon and what he said at that time ?

Right on, man. Another example of how Marseille is supposed to be this great place to play and yet so many players dont stay there too long.

Labrune is licking his chops to bring in a manager who makes a lesser salary to save some money.

We did what we had to do against Montpelier but now the entire season comes down to game against Lyon on Saturday. A season without even any EL would be a massive step back and pretty depressing so I hope we can make it happen.

since i just realized that i had my cup facts bassackwards (it's the CdF, not the CdlL, that gives the EL to the finalist if the winner qualifies otherwise) it's clear your fronts are to the wall.

OL is focused on the Coup de France and the top 3. They could come out flat and its a great chance for OM to win.

Labrune already announced the payroll/budget was going to decrease by 15-20m. I think I read its at 145m right now. It shouldnt be that bad since they still will have the 3rd highest budget in L1 and doesnt look like they will fall any lower than that. Lille's budget will increase but I doubt it will ever get higher than OM so they are safe for now. I suppose OL could fall to 3rd but its definately not a given. Lille should have the 4th highest budget from now on I suppose. I mean who is gonna pass them ? Bordeaux , yeah right !

Hey I will be in Marseille next week. Anyone know how difficult it will be to get tix for the Nancy match midweek? Expensive or average? Stadium close to the city center? Any help with info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Not difficult at all. To go to the stadium and buy a ticket, take the subway (metro) and stop at "Rond Point du Prado".

Shouldn't be too hard to get tickets, the season is more or less decided and a lot of people are boycotting because the bad results in the league. The capacity is reduced to 42.000 because of renovations but I'd be surprised if Nancy sold it out.

The stadium is a bit south of the city centre but it's served by two metro/subway stations, takes a bout 10 minute on the subway from the central train station to get there. Unless your part of the fan groups you can only get tickets to the side-stands and with reduced capacity I think the raised those prizes some so might be a bit expensive in relationship to the current quality of the team's performance.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. So most likely I can buy a ticket at the box office yes? Wouldn't need to get one on the black market?

13 games without a win in L1 for Marseille. It's the kind of streak Grenoble and Arles-Avignon had and were laughed at for. It's crazy for a club like Marseille. Things have changed. 10 years ago, Pires was hidden in Blondeau's car boot because he was scared of the supporters. Perhaps, the financial interest some have in l'OM is holding them back.

On top of that, the atmosphere in the locker room seems pretty bad as we have seen this week with Amalfitano pointing out at some of his teammates in the press. I don't understand why Amalfitano thinks he's legit to run his mouth about his teammates. He should watch himself in a mirror. He may have gotten a cap with the national team but he does not deserve it and he can thanks the good image of Marseille for it. He behave like Ribery minus the talent.

Anyway, here are the reasons why Marseille paid the plane ticket of Jean Dujardin :

    http://www.footmarseille.com/news-17789/depenses-vip-de-l-om-labrune-s-explique.html

The funny thing is nobody gives a shit about those "famous" people being in the stands and the only reason the case of Jean Dujardin has been discussed is because of the financial crisis at l'OM and wasting money was not well seen.

very disappointed in OM this season.. i thought we were finally out of the dark ages after all the build up from previous years and finally winning the title in last season... but to me it seems there are deeper problems in OM.. the biggest issue is a weak management... from the top... we just have terrible management.. absolute no vision... the investments in players is weak.. scouting players is weak.. our coach seems he cant coach more than 2 seasons without crumbling apart.. no unity.. no continuity
