Then take a look at Rodriguez, Marquez, Moreno, & Juarez... We got Boca, Gooch, Chandler, Cherundolo, & Lichaj. All defenders playing and playing well for good clubs. This is the exact reason I could never bring myself to be a fan of them. They turn everything into a race/culture/geopolitical issue when they get punched in the mouth and their a$$es handed to them. And then they throw out the million dollar excuse...."Well, we don't care about soccer anyways"....

 

There was a kid on my FB last year who was writing all these Gold cup statuses (and also flooded Fb during the 2010 WC), and when the U.S. lost he wrote "well on to sports that matter." So I responded "It is the world sport, every one cares."

The very next comment was his random ass friend who said "at least we are better than that 3rd world shit hole nation where you can't drink the water"

This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. It's F'in comical, and in a weird way, I feel a little bad for them for how transparent and idiotic they are.

 

They have to go that route because they are poor losers who must have the last word. There is no easier way to be hurtful than to be racist and say something like we still kicked your butts when it counted and countries were being developed. It's the sheer hypocrisy of the US fans at times that just burns me. The inability to step back and say wow you were better today and I 'll learn from this.

 

They'll get it eventually in the next couple years, win by win they'll slowly accept that we are better then them
