Usual fan talk, some like it, some don't believe Markwort knows anything, some don't think he can make it etc. It's just a strange thing by this guy to come out with when there's no need to and it's not funny as a April's fool joke.
Can I say that I'm a little without words? I mean, wtf, why the hell would Usami agree to stay at Bayern? Maybe I haven't understood well the situation
I have a feeling that Usami is a bit of a gloryhunter and would rather stay at the biggest German club even being out of the squad than play for a smaller club.
How glory is there in sitting on the bench at Bayern? Heck, he hardly even makes the bench. But I guess he does get a lot of glory playing for Bayern II! HAHA! Wish he would've stayed at Gamba and played alongside Endo and been his replacement or something. All will not be lost if he moves to Nurnberg and plays.
It is sad that many are hoping for a big career at Bayern Munich and are just wasted. German news are reporting he is thinking about a change to Bavaria based 1. FC Nuremberg, who appear to get as many Japanese players as possible. - Takashi Usami - Hiroshi Kiyotake - Takashi Inui - Horiki Sakai Just as a source. http://www.goal.com/de/news/968/transfermarkt/2012/04/04/3012318/nürnberg-im-japan-fieber
I don't think they are totally down. Nurembergs problem is mostly that they don't win. Against Munich and Stuttgart they played two decent games, but lost 0:1 because they won't shoot a goal. One or two good offense players and they can rise again to the upper class.
Winger Takashi Usami, AMF Hiroshi Kiyotake and Takashi Inui, and Full Back Hiroki Sakai who have an eye for goal. Any and all of these players could really help Nuremberg in the attacking and goal scoring department.
Maybe next few weeks he's got a slight chance, focus on UCL and they've got nothing to play for in the Bundesliga. But this is probably too optimistic...
I still haven't understood one thing: has there been confirmation that he is indeed staying at Bayern? I remember reading about words of a Bayern rep. but they were quite in contrast with Usami's interviews. So I'm a little confused here.
No confirmation. The only thing is what we see: Heynckes rotated 5 players out of the team in the league (I think it's the first time this season), but neither Pedersen nor Usami were on the bench. Both also didn't feature for Bayern II.
Not officially, but it's reported that there is some kind of gentlemen's agreement that if Nurnberg stays afloat in B.1 next season, Usami will go there on loan from Gamba Osaka. Another interesting info, Cerezo's Hiroshi Kiyotake seems to also been in agreement with Nurnberg over the same deal... So if Nurnberg does stays in B.1 for next season, 2 young Japanese starlets will join Nurnberg, and hopefully a lot of playing time.
Both Wings/Wide Mid.? Like a Nurnberg version of Robbery (and maybe when Nurnberg Vs B.Munchen will come both Usami and Kiyotake scores! ).
http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...schau_werder-bremen-4_bayern-muenchen-14.html boy how I hope he makes Heynckes regret this weekend... !
I hope he won't put too much pressure on him but if there's a day we can't miss, it's this one. I already can't wait.
I could be wrong, but to me Usami looks the type of player that gets elated when under pressure. Hope for a Barca-performance again like that match in July.
That game was only in July? Felt like a century ago... Hope he makes the most of these limited opportunities, no doubt a fair few clubs will be watching.
usami to start? so they are resting their regulars for the rm clash. great chance for usami to show his skills.
