He was not that eager to play for Turkish NT two years ago which was his best year in The Island. He had a goal to play for England NT, maybe he still is but he also said that he didnt get any offers to play for Turkish NT.

He has been playing for Everton for years regularly. Maybe he is not eager because of what happened to Muzzy after choosing Turkish NT.

But there is not even an offer, i think he cound be convinced by Guus. He always say he searches throughout to Europe to fing young Turkish stars who have not played for any other NT yet, but he doesnt see him ( Maybe because of his age which is ,29, Hid maybe think that if he was Turkish he already would be called up to squad ). Just like Many people in Turkia who thinks that he is fully English even match speakers dont know how to say his name correctly :D

In GreeceSuperLeague Tümer Metin's team finished 14. out of 16 teams and relegated to lower league. Tümer had a decent season even though his team was relegated. Even though he is a winger, he finished with 8 goals and became most top scorer in his team and 10. in the league. If the 37 year old player Tümer keeps playing with Larissa, he will be 5. Turkish player in 2. tier league of Greece next year alongside Deniz Baykara, Erol Bulut, Kendal Uçar, Yusuf Yılmaz.

He was a great player sometimes and looks like he still is good enough. I miss his magnificent tricks & goals.

Grenoble's Atila Turan to Sporting Lizbon. 19 year old left winger. Good move! France Youth Team's player. Waiting for him to choose Turkia NT. Personally I, didnt watch him but being played in France Youth Team should mean somthing important.

Stade Rennes sign Erding from PSG

Paris St Germain's French-Turkish forward Mevlut Erding joined fellow Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes on Wednesday in a search of first-team football.

The announcement regarding the 24 year old was made on the Stade Rennes website (www.staderennais.com).

Erding has been seeing little playing time at the Parc des Princes this season after the ambitious Qatari-backed side, who lead the Ligue 1 standings, brought in the likes of Javier Pastore and Kevin Gameiro.

The Turkish international has only scored one goal this season, playing 11 matches.

Tonight game UEFA Cup Semi Finale second leg:

    Valencia - Atletico Madrid

First leg Atletico Madrid won 4-2

Arda Turan saw yellow card in first leg, so, he have to be carefull to get another yellow in second leg,
if he see second yellow and than Atletico goes finale, the Turkish star will miss the Grand Finale....

Mehmet Topal of Valencia played a unperformed first leg, he made big error in Atletico's one goal.

His morale is down since than...Lets hope he is fully fresh morale to second leg match up.

Good luck to the both players.

predict 2-1 Valencia win but Atletico goes Finale....

Not sure if it has been mentioned on here before but Reading won the 2nd tier of English football last week and will be in the Premier League next season. We have Jem Karacan playing for us in midfield who has played for Turkey under 21's in the past

He came through our youth team and is a real fans favourite. Our player of the season is due to be announced on Sunday and he has made the final 3

Expect to see him making headlines around the PL next season!
