So while the rest of the UPL universe is focused on the fight at the top, we've successfully planted ourselves at the bottom of the table. We'll have the fanciest arena in Persha League. Suck on that Metalurg Donetsk!

UPL's disciplinary commission has revoked Harmash's second yellow against Shakhtar. Harmash will be available for Dynamo's match against Vorskla. The damage has been done, however.

Ah yes, but will they have the balls to revoke the ref's license? Not gonna happen, is it...

You know, it was either Garmash or Khacheridi who was getting sent off that day. Both are so easy to provoke and have a reputation for being easily baited.

I agree with your remark about Syomin. We don't need a "passionate" coach, we need a good one. Anyone can swear at the referee and cause a rukus, how about winning crucial games for a change, and not starting the game with all your attacking players on the bench?

I agree with that, except it is not always easy to win when powers that be decide that you shouldn't.

Powers that be? That loss was all on Dynamo's head. Players not understanding the word professionalism, that they are professionals who should not give in to temptation even if they are being baited. It's a lack of maturity in Dynamo players that worries me, and why they probably will continue to choke in big games.

That is an altogether different issue, although it's also a part of it.

    On track for Golden Game...

The Miners easily pound The Comets.

Dynamo also recover from last week.

But probably the most important news is that Karpaty are out of the relegation zone this round with a squeaker over Volyn.

    Three Rounds to go!

The only thing that could prevent the Golden Match is Metalist. But, truthfully, they are totally out of form right now. I am not sure they will be able to do much.

We would be the underdog in the Golden Match. Statistically speaking, I think Syomin only won one fixture against Shakhtar. Sad, I know. :/

I used to hate when Shakhtar beat Dynamo, but for some reason now its amusing to me to see the Ukrainian giant get devastated like this by the former underdog. I think its a lot to do with Dynamo's epic fails in UCL '08-'11, and despising seeing Milevsky's goal celebrations (however rare they are).

Only thing that makes me want to see Dynamo win the title this year is Sheva. Would be terrible to see his sting at Dynamo end without a title :( also probably better for Ukraine's chances to get 2 teams into the UCL since Dynamo is about as useless as Dnipro in qualifying to Europe.

I'd like to have one DK - SD fixture without referee disasters. Just one! Is it too much to ask?

Wasn't there one just recently, in the Ukrainian Cup?

Weren't there also a whole bunch of bad calls (both ways) in that match?

Yeah I think Dynamo's 2nd goal was offside, so it should of really ended 1-3 for Shakhtar.

No, that's not it. There was no offsides.

Right now I am not recalling any bad calls by refs but I recall a lot of talk about it.

Oh nvm I mixed up handball with offside. But nevertheless other than that I don't remember anyone complaining about the referee in that game.

You can read the press-conference here: http://shakhtar.com/ru/matches/events/?id=2578

You can make a very strong argument that it's his hand letting him control the ball more than his chest, since the ball is going away from him, and his body is basically parallel to the flight of the ball. It's a very disguised hand ball, but it's there.

But other than this incident, I don't remember anything else in this particular game that was close to "outrageous" or affected the result of the game.

Except on the video you can clearly see that it bounces off his chest.

    Shakhtar continue to push Dynamo...

7th straight win with the Selez scoring a double.

Dnipro give a gift goal to Obolon in extra time which happens to be a point for survival...

Maksymov has had a ruff spring... Turned in his working papers for KKR today.
I don't think he'll be out of a job for long.

Ever since Shakhtar - Dynamo match, any game other than Metalist - Shakhtar has stopped mattering.

For Dynamisty that may be the case.

However, there are other prizes to consider... Two more spots for the Europa Liha.

Who will win the YKPAIHIAH Cup?

And of course the unfathomable prize of relegation...

If you're into gory things check out Matheus cutting up the goalie's head at 2:15 of the video. EPL wouldn't show that I don't think

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW2kNdTgaag"]?? ??????? ?????????? ?????? - YouTube[/ame]

Konoplyanka's technique is just retarded right now, please keep it and don't get hurt before Euro's. Check out 4:15 and 7:15, also his 1st goal was pretty damn nice.

LOL at Vitaliy Kaverin, former big youth prospect, sucked at U-19 Euro's when we won it, got a chance to make an appearance yesterday inexplicably and look at his wasted chance when we were up 2-1 lol insane. Lol at our stupid field
