Don't know where to put this thought, but it pertains (barely) to the last Euro so here it goes:

Did anyone catch Ibra's disallowed goal against Tottenham tonight in the CL's game? It was a good call by the ref/assistant who saw Ibra's sneaky push on the back of the defender just before he took the shot.

The first thing I thought about though... Ballack's push on P. Fail to score Germany's winning goal against us in Euro 2008. The difference? Tottenham's defender actually threw up his hands in the air to show he'd been fouled. P. Chump, on the other hand, just stood there looking stupefied... Oh well, water under the bridge, but it's hard to let go...

It's simple - I'm annoyed he is/was a chump. The only possible reason he was even in that game (as a LB, no less) was b/c of his supposed experience. If somebody pushes you in the box you either hold your ground or you damn make sure the assistant/ref knows there was push. He played lazy all afternoon but he looked like a school boy in that play.

    Bitter? Who me? :)

So i'm guessing if you ever see Abel Xavier, he better run for his life :p:D;)

Xavier? I never saw him play lazy for the NT. Against France, it was a questionable handball and he was between a rock and a hard place (I mean the ball was heading in). (also, he almost won us the game before that; still don't know how Barthez got to that bullet header...)

Now, if I ever saw a 1.91m black dude with platinum blond cornrows heading down the street towards me I would walk slowly, but surely very, very far away... Paulo, on the other hand, I think my grandma could take... ;)

    Obrigado e continua assim!

    !!! FORÇA PORTUGAL !!!

Apparently Paulo Bento's fate will be decided before Euro 2012. Good move or bad move?

If they elect not to re-sign him, I see it as a bad move because that leaves Bento as a lame duck coach with nothing to fight for. I've seen this happen plenty of times in other sports and it just isn't good for business. I feel the federation is obligated to re-sign him...and if he fails miserable at the euro, pay him the compensation and let him leave. Probably wont happen since our federation are cheap bastards.

Very stupid if they decide not to re-elect him before the Euro.

Is this a way of straddling the fence in case Mourinho wins La Liga and the CL this year? Could you guys see him doing that if he did win the 2?

FPF are definitely cheap bastardos... but you know they'll try and lure Mourinho here. He's worth the money.

IF Bento's fate is indeed decided that soon, I'm 100% confident it's because he'll be staying on for 2014 World Cup.

He's done a fantastic job since taking over. He's done nothing to warrant being told now that he'll exit after the Euro.

All these players have been playing above and beyond what we expected all these players are having a good season and with this formation we are opganized and have a depth in creative ability even we are getting to pressured then a guy like Veloso can come in if we need goals we can have Varela and Oliveira in

    Carrico instead of Alves?
    Fernandes instead of Moutinho?
Barbosa instead of Veloso in the XI? (I know u change formation but still)
    Quaresma instead of Nani?

Come on, that can't be serious lol. How do you take Ronaldo off the wing and still keep Nani on the bench?? lol

Barbosa has been on fire all season! and Fernandes is doing very good I am a fan of Moutinho but I think against the German Manuel Fernandes is a stronger canidate

My ponit was that we have a LOT of depth in the middle and i am not convinced at all in Nelson Oliveira yet what has he done all season yeah he had a great U-20 but im not convinced either waythis is the strongest team i have seen in years so much depth its crazy

I certainly prefer Alves to Carrico

I like Fernandes and think he should be on the team for sure, but Moutinho is far superior to him.

I never want to see Quaresma wear a Portugal jersey again. Fails time and time again, far too selfish

I like Barbosa and would like to see him on the bench also

I don't know much about Vaz Te so I won't comment.

Wasn't RVT a striker originally? He seems to have good stride and vision. Funny how Bolton gave up on him and he has really gain a ton of confidence.

Bro, what kind of system is that? No way RVT starts. Nelo should be the #1 striker because I do think he will be a big factor for us. Almeida/Postiga are no longer contributing. Barbosa should be on the bench, as I do think he deserves a spot. What about Viana? You think has the balls to put him on the roster? No.

    Watching Real Madrid...

Coentrao is a shadow of what he was the past few seasons, no offensive flair, defensivly he's been a sieve, he even seems to have lost some pace...
