Dedé would be an excellent choice.

We'll I'm a Vasco fan, one side of my family are hardcore Vasco fans, go to all the matches.

I've seen him play a lot. He's a good player, a lot of potential and all that but I'm not sure he's ready to come in a play immediately. That price would suggest he is ready to come in and contribute right away.

I wouldn't mind signing him, prospect for the future but we need to sign a class experienced defender too. No more pinning our hopes young inexperienced players on the back line we need to get some players moving into their prime.

Use google chrome if you need to translate.

What they say is absolutely true; The only heir to Totti in terms of technical and tactical is Jo-Jo.

    Not saying he's not good.

I think we should sign him if we can but I'm just saying I don't think we should expect him to come in and be class immediately.

I'd still like to sign a experienced CB around 25-26, who can come into a team with ambitions and immediately perform to complement a younger signing like Dede.

I agree that Papadopoulos is great talent.

As for Dede I think it would be a really good buy. He is tall, good tackler and really good in air (one of our television somethimes show highlights of Brazilian league so i see him play). But I also agree with SoCalYid that our priority is someone checked (I don't know if that is a right word:D). I would really like if that was Salvatore Bocchetti, Otamendi or maybe Subotić.

Speaking of Center Defenders rumors of us going around saying we are interested in signing Canini, 27 years old, CB for Cagliari, for 4 million.. He and Astori are both very good, I wouldn't mind either one.

    ...Astori :D

Or the likes that Loomis mentioned, Subotic, Otamendi and Bocchetti have all got good European top flight experience. Subotic would be my pick from this bunch but I can't imagine Dortmund selling him for cheap

it be a dream to take him and Howedes.

Would also work with Ogbonna, Astori, etc....

Anyone hear anything about LB lately? a lot of us here want Criscito but unfortunately I never see anything linking him to Rome.

Michel Bastos is priming and should be able to come for cheap considering Lyon is losing a lot of cash.

I don't know how long he will be as impressive as he is, with Brasilians I am always hesitant, but if he put in 3-4 good years that would justify 8-12 mill

No news lately on left backs... Looks like they might see what Crescienza has to offer this summer, also they will probably give Jose Angel 1 more shot next season.

I like Crescenzi, he plays real well for u21 nationals, but I haven't seen him play in Serie B.

Bradley's agent claims no contact with Roma regardless of what the papers say.

It would be great to have Bradley-De Rossi-Pjanic midfield.

That would be far from great.. Bradley does nothing for me

I think Gago/Marquinho/Greco are much better

Have you watched Bradley this season?

He plays awesome for Chievo. I also remember someone who became a great player at Chievo, then stayed at Roma very long (almost too long) ;-)

Well, for me he became good at Roma under Spalletti's system. Otherwise, he has always just been a decent work-horse

from what I remember of him at Chievo, he played almost every midfield position, and scored some big goals. He is a warrior

According to The Sun, we made an 7 million offer for Fulham’s Dempsey..I mean, he is very good and all that, but do we really need him at the moment?

For that money we can get Strooman from PSV, transfermarkt says that he is valued at 8 million. He is younger and a 'truly' midfielder.

Dempsey would be a puzzle in our system. He would either fit on the Left or Right forward positions (where we already have Osvaldo, Lamela, Borini and Bojan -or- he could be our CAM which is occupied by Pjanic. With the emergence of Marquino in the center, maybe he could play CM who makes runs forward. I don't know if it works - but Dempsey has versatility in his position - which is an asset.

Even if this is a business decision, it's working - I would buy a Dempsey jersey immediately.
