So in short this is the "smoke-selling" group. In the other hand, Lanús managed to get past the group stages of the Libertadores.

Cierre de candela a la fase de grupos: Jueves, 6 PM PST, U de Chile vs. Atletico Nacional. Perhaps the two most impressive teams of the cup so far.
I don't think we have reached our peak yet, but we are getting there, we are definitely in better form since we were beaten in Colombia. Should be an interesting match to gauge how much we have improved.
Which is weird because they supposedly wanted to "destroy" the group, then I saw that they had some substitutes specially in the backline. Near the end of the match i changed channels to see not only Deport defeating Chivas 5-0 but also that Alustiza actually scored 4 goals!? Bolivar-Católica started, two minutes in and Bolivar scored.
Man, when you're that high up in the puna, you can shoot from midfield and the ball does weird things.
Well, I bet even this Chivas would get to the semis of the Concachafa. Two more goals by Bolívar and another goal for Junior, and Bolívar ends as leader of Group 3, above the Unión Española.
Bolívar needed 1 more goal and for Junior to win 3-1 to win the group. But even with one more goal, Union and Bolívar would be tied. Because Bolívar lost both times vs. Union, they'd get first either way. I am NOT looking forward to Bolívar playing Atletico Nacional....
I gotta say I'm glad we have a Bolivian team in the round of 16. Diversity is good. As for my country's teams, Fluminense, Vasco, and Corinthians are through. We'll know whether Fluminense and Corinthians finish 1st or 2nd in their groups. Santos and Internacional are very close to being in - I expect Santos to finish first and Internacional second. Flamengo could've made it too... oh well.
Nos faltaba el 4to gol y ayuda de Junior. Pero esta bien asi, ace mucho tiempo un equipo boliviano no avanza a Octavos pero esta noche se festeja en La Paz
The funny thing if this were to occur is that fans of other teams in your country would probably unleash those wisecracks about how all fans of your side are Bolivians. I remember seeing Independente fans w/ Bolivian and Paraguayan flags mocking Boca (this supposedly led to complaints from the diplomatic corps of those countries). What I thought was really funny was that I saw a Bolivian flag being flown by your team's fans in the stands when your team faced AC Milan in 2007.
Well, a great number of the Bolivian and Paraguayan immigrants into Argentina have adopted Boca Juniors as their team, and unfortunately some of the racists and xenophobics try to use that against us. It's also envy, because Boca is so popular and successful. Anyway, I am glad to welcome our Bolivian and Paraguayan brothers into the Boca family!
That's cool. I wasn't mocking you - I re-read my post and hoped you didn't think I meant it offensively. Besides, with the exception of Independente fans, rival fans from other teams within your country can't trash talk your side when it comes to the Libertadores. Even if you don't win it this year, you're in it, and you're a contender.
