Maloney's thunderbolt seals it for Wigan. Well done to Martinez and his boys!

Wigan are playing really well. We need to beware of that fixture.

No - they were thrown towards Manuel Neuer. Dortmund fans (and not only them) used to throw bananas at Oliver Kahn in the 90s whom they mocked as a gorilla. Now Neuer with his Schalke past (Dortmund`s arch rivals) has taken Kahn`s place.

Agreed. Wigan have won two of their past three, and honestly outplayed Chelsea in that loss. Probably going to be a lot tougher than most realize. Glad we're at least playing them at the Emirates.

Complacency of thinking they won the league already, but they have points to lose; we don't.

We better not get complacent when we play Wigan.

its not complacency, they arent that good and Wigan are survivors, lol.

I doubt they will lose a match at the DW for the rest of this season.

Quite an interesting thought experiment (if you are into your logic) is to imagine what a fixed league would look like.

You are one of the few people who raise the obvious - that you can look at fixed leagues like Serie A (again lol!) and Turkey to see how they operate.

The idea that the league can't be titled because Phi Dowd didn't give Man U a penalty is of course, ridiculous once you start going down this road.

    You couldn't make it up.

    Fulham has some new signings...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Fulham-12-hens-training-ground-cut-costs.html

To buy a dozen hens to live on the training ground to save on the costs of eggs seems like an (queue Mr.Burns) eggcellent idea. But what about cost of feeding, upkeep and who will have tend to them? If Arsenal ever did something like this I would vote Almunia, Squiddi, Chamakh or Park To tend the hens as they are doing nothing anyways :D. But the article says it will save Fulham £5,000/yr on eggs to feed Fulham. Heck we should just start an Arsenal Farm with pigs, cows, crops. If Arsene like his players home-grown from the academy, it should be the same about his food! But on the real, would keeping hens on the grounds work for Arsenal to save some cash?

Maybe we could also get some goats at Emirates to save on the cost of mowing.

I don't. I want us to sign their players: Subotic, Kagawa, Gotze, Perisic. That's a really good team they've put together, though. I watched their game on Saturday at Wolfsburg and was impressed. They certainly deserve the title.

Bit late, and I assume most of you all heard this, but the Elegant Asshole Giorgio Chinaglia died in Florida last Sunday.

It was interesting, to say the least, Signore Chinaglia. RIP.
