He's a chameleon...lol, but that was a class goal...vnice, great to see him honing his skills playing first team, good utility player, guess the only way any chinese player can play in EPL would be if he is flexible (ala Jihai).

From Zhang's weibo: 裁判你真是好样的!上半场,我的点球你没吹!下半场,连着给我两张黄牌给我罚下!下来之后跟记者说我骂你!我真想问问你,在你给我两张黄牌之前我骂你了吗?FILHO DA ********!!!! Modified translation: Referee you are freaking great! You didn't give me a penalty during the first half! On the second half, you gave me two consecutive yellow cards! Then you told the reporters that I bitched at you! I really want to ask you, before you gave me two yellow cards did I bitch at you? Son of a bitch!!!

true dat. i remember zheng zhi played in several positions for charlton before? i know he played as midfielders, and i think he played as defender and shadow striker before? (i might be wrong) anyway it's my birthday today. (might be a COOL STORY BRO news to some of you) i wish tan long pull a jimmy floyd hasslebaink and score a hat trick. zhang's red card get cancelled at score another hat trick. wang yang will play and score, assist, anything to prove himself in belgium. deng zhuoxiang and rong hao miraculously heal from their half-season injury and board a german-bound plane. and u-22 team will score with flying colours during the qualifiers so european scouts would finally give a damn about chinese football. happy birthday to me, and good luck chinese football

If you all remember Bai Zijian, after leaving Daejeon Citizen, he currently plays for Goyang KB (of the second tier league). He joined the team since February, and he only played two matches with a total of seven minutes http://www.soccerway.com/players/zijian-bai/123826/
I was actually at this game, pretty entertaining. I thought maybe they could sub him on at the end there but nope, not a chance.
san jose played really well and earn the victory. the dude who scored a brace really played brilliantly.. regarding tan long, i think for a while he will be a super sub. i am not sure what he can do in whitecaps, and if he doesn't earn more minutes, i think he might leave whitecaps for another MLS club. i keep thinking that if tan long comes back to china, he won't make the cut to CSL and off topic: disapointtingly i realize wang gang, the dude who was playing in portugual first division and second division jsut few months ago, now came back to shandong luneng and failed to make to the first team. he last played for the reserve team and scored. it just makes me feel that "playing oversea doesn't make you valued at CSL"
Haha he's lucky the Portugese FA probably dont read Chinese....if he said that whilst playing in the EPL, he'd be looking for a 3 match suspension for speaking his mind...hahahahaha But 2 yellows in the same minute? I guess he got a yellow for a tackle, went to the ref and said some things, and then got another yellow. I suspect there was a translation error in their interaction, perhaps Zhang said something wrong and/or the referee thought Zhang swore at him in Chinese.
thanks dude! saw your rep msg! hope there will be more events for chinese football so this forum would have more people
Yeah I play soccer here and there in the states, and most people ask me like, "I didn't know you Asians can play?" lol. I don't want to alienate our own people, but we definitely need more Chinese people around posting here!
anyone can post here especially people that knows more about portuguese football, as there are more and more chinese players plying their trades on portugal.
which six players are you referring to? i only know the following six portguese players: zhang chengdong (beira mar) wen shuo (cd mafra) jiang peng (cant spell the club off my head) hu jun (varzim) other two unnamed youth players (varzim).
Great. Wen Shuo (Mafra), Jiang Peng (Oliveira do Bairro, who will probably get relegated), Hu Zun (Varzim, who will most likely get promoted), all play in the II Division, the third tier of Portuguese football. I didn't know about the last two. Zhang is Beira-mar's top scorer with 5, and they will, in all likelihood, stay up. In that case they ought to sign him.
