Might as well get this started. Orlando City will be holding a supporters' summit on Wednesday, January 25. Doors open at 5pm, summit begins at 6pm. As part of it, they will be unveiling a new home kit for 2012.
Today the Lions announced the signing of midfielder James O'Connor. The Irish international is coming to America likely to close out his career. He most recently comes from Sheffield Wednesday, and spent most of his English pro career at the second tier/Championship level.

I'm not so sure about Yordany Alvarez being on there. RSL is negotiating hard to have him stay in Salt Lake. And no knock on Orlando, but how does Yordany go from D3 to D1 and then back? Especially if the D1 teams wants him! Some pundits here in RSL land think O'Connor was signed to provide depth for when Alvarez signs with RSL.
Four players from the open tryout this weekend were invited to training camp. According to Adam, the walk-up slots sold rapidly, and scores had to be turned away.
