Ok maybe Blanc doesn't like him but even in that article Guignol linked Blanc went on to say that if he keeps playing well that the France team was in his future. Do you honestly think that if Domenech was still in charge that Gomis would have been playing this whole time? the truth is that Gomis has really only been in the top 4 or 5 french strikers this season. even if Hourau didnt deserve to get called up instead of him.

Actually Tabanou IS a left midfielder. He occasionally plays as a left back but not nearly as often as midfield.

    And Matuidi is crap.

OK. In all fairness he isn't crap. But he's just not good enough for the national team yet. Just my opinion.

I honnestly think Gameiro might not make it to the squad for the euros, Menez too (though his spot is threatened to a lesser extent imo)

I thought Menez looked pretty decent but started to make a few mistakes later in the match. Nothing terrible by any means. As for Gameiro, I have to agree with you. He may be sitting at home in June.

At this point Ben Arfa is looking more and more likely to be joining France for the Euro, pehaps at the exclusion of Valbuena on the right wing.

what happened was he had one good season where he played way over his head for a team that was also really clicking and made a lot of people expect him to become something he never was: a more than just ordinary player.

Any thought of Ben Arfa playing in the center? We really haven't found that driving force yet. Nasri and Martin have been lacking at times.

He has a real chance of making the team with the way things are going. He started playing lights-out as soon as Pardew moved him to the right wing. It's hard to say if that's just coincidence since a number of his penetrating runs come about when he makes runs into the middle of the field.

at times?? that's a charitable way of putting it! he really does have a great chance of making the team now. if lolo doesn't give him at least the chance he gave MM it could only be due to some cockamamie bruno bini projet de vie thing. but saints preserve us, not in the center. there's one spot the leopard hasn't changed that sticks out even on the great plays he's been making: once HBA gets the ball it's his until taken from him by force. look at that 60 yard run he made: if the bolton defenders had sussed out that none of those appels his teammates were making served any purpose they could have shut him down no problemo. the greater fools they.

I think it's time we start discussing the possibility of dual strikers. How do you think a Giroud-Benzema attack would be. Could it succeed and with what midfield?

Playing dual strikers (Giroud-Benzema) will mean playing M'villa & Cabaye in the midfield, Ribery on the left and one of Nasri/ HBA/ Menez/ Valbuena on the right.

Poor Martin. He was one of the only satisfactions during the qualifiers and after a few months without national team games, he no longer plays because the hype train chose to hype other players. If at least these players had good performances with the NT but it's not the case.

He should go abroad coz it's the best way to get consideration and being untouchable.

Martin has the best passing ability in this team. Let's talk about it, if he goes to England otherwise that's pretty much pointless to mention it.
