Latinos will always hate on each other, sad to say. But we'll always have a love hate relationship with Honduras. We share so many similarities, as much as we hate to admit. And we both have families across generations living in one or the other. I'm about a 1/3 Honduran myself.

Im ready to go watch them play too!

Your little brother still playing highs school football?

Nah, he gave it up. He wasn't enjoying it anymore and he's been working out hard to drop the extra "football" weight He's already a lot smaller so football is over with.

lol since when was stating facts trolling? Whose still contracted to DC United :D

anywho.. you didn't read hard enough (??? lol).. I said Guanacos (ironic) are the easiest at getting trolled...

My point. I still love yall though. My mom was born on the border of El Salvador and Honduras. La Virtud, departamento of Lempira. She had to travel back and forth between ES and Honduras during their war. She also went to college in ES during the ES civil war. She loves ES more than Honduras sometimes.. Flattering imo. So I don't think I can ever hate yall.

I still consider Honduras to a brother above other CA countries. We do butt heads a lot but that's expected in a rivalry. Hah.

Im sure , most of us here look at the rankings as a joke. however , im glad ES has move up to a decent position

I believe this rankings gives them an opportunity to face teams within their rankings .... example -Estonia ..

Teams willing more to play ES to give them an edge and measure their talent..

i certainly didn't think they belong with the likes of Vietnam...

I think the rankings reflect the progress done on Gold Cup and u23...

if they were rankings in the 70's and 80's , i think ES belong in the 20's or teens... but thats for another discussion..

U23 games don't count in the rankings only senior level games count. We went up because some losses from a few years ago no longer count like they used to in determining our ranking.

Not bad. Realistically only about 10 will make the final cut. Overall, I like that a lot of young guys got called up.

fat , corrupted ex president Rodrigo Calvo is on twitter now and criticize for the hiring of Sarulyte

finds a way to make me hate him more , however as long as isreal can work with Sarulyte , then it will be okay ...

we know he want someone from his country, i guess money did play a big role ...

Anyone else think Villalobos & Bonilla should get a second look after the post-season is over?

Ideally i'd prefer La Chochera Castillo but I'm pleased with this pick. I trust Profe Israel's judgement.

I said that at the Liga Mayor thread, brother. Definitely agree. I've constantly been asking for Villalobos to get a shot. I'm not okay with Yimmy Cuellar potentially being our starter. He's decent but to me Diego Cuellar is still better. I think Villalobos and El Motor Contreras deserve a call.

Bonilla is one of the guys who was suspended along with Chavarria. Tuco didn't call him up. What a guy...

From an article i just read seems like Israel or the Federation has already contacted Orellana about training with El Salvador...we'll see in the next call-ups...Israel mentioned a few days ago he wanted Efrain Burgos Jr and Orellana for the squad....but didn't Orellana have immigration issues or something? either way sounds like a great addition in the forward position

Agreed. I hope Isidro Gutierrez gets called up (I'm sure he will). I secretly have high hopes for this guy. He played really well in the pre-olympic qualifiers. It's unfortunate he couldn't capitalize on a lot close opportunities. I think he'll be a heavy asset to the NT in the near future.
