    really have to give credit for Pardew for first of signing him and then finding a way to play to his strengths

    I suspect Fergie will get the gong but Pardew has to be in real serious consideration for MOTY

    a healthy Ben Afra has been real key for them as well, but yeah, Pardew is working wonders

    good shout on Ben Arfa

    another Pardew signing (on a full time basis) who along with the likes of Ba, Cisse and Cabaye are really making him look like a good tactician and an astute Manager when it comes to purchases

    My fingers are rebelling even as I am typing this but I think he is Manager Of The Season. I think you are right. The team and team ethos has has created deserve to be recognized. I think Rodgers is a candidate but I am sure they will give MOTY to Fergie because..........because.

    I think he had some help in that department. Management, players, etc. Its undignified and unjustified to blame him solely for our current situation.

    could probably write a book about this season

    as Bruck and pete say there are other parties responsible for our awful season so far, but AVB shares a good portion of the responsibility imo

    some of his decision were downright baffling

    not all, but only if they had played, not training with reserves or warming up the bench

    I will say, regardless of fault, it has been nice to see some players AVB completely wrote off or tried to run out of here, back playing regularly. Not that I was shocked to see the old guys still have it, but I really missed Mikel as well.

    while others who continually underperformed have found themselves on the outskirts of the team

    I think AVB did a lot of things wrong and in the end was well out of his depth, but I think he will bounce back a better Manager for this

    I could care less if he bounces back or fails completely. I was so hopeful and excited for his appointment, but found him to be an irritatingly stubborn a-hole, who almost ruined this season completely, feel nothing but disdain for his time here.

    Just glad Di Matteo has done what he could do to give the team a different feel/change what he could in a short time

    which is why I dont put all of the blame on the players

    are they at fault for giving in on AVB and ultimately us? sure. But then again if we were not in such a shyte storm to begin with and so low on confidence and the "project" then perhaps some of the results could have been turned around

    in a funny sort of way I continually find myself wondering if RDM would have not turned out better results in some of the poor showings under AVB

    Ultimately I am dissapointed in AVB but many of us felt we need to take a radical change to shake this team up and I thnk a good portion of us thought AVB would be that man. Again one has to look at the board and really question many of the decisions which have occured since the third season under Jose.
