Anything north of the Bronx is considered upstate (at least for city dwellers).

By my count, Princeton is the 100th program to announce. Discounting the three service academies, that puts us at exactly half of the D-I men's soccer programs that have announced.

It's pretty pathetic that more than two months after the stat of the official signing period that only half the programs have announced.

And these coaches will all bitch and moan whenever a men's soccer program gets cut or funding is reduced or they don't get as much exposure or as high a salary.

Please, promote your program and promote your sport - announce your damn new players. No excuses! It's just not that hard.

I seem to remember you making a comment like this around same time last year...must be a yearly refrain:confused:

    Sadly, it's an annual monologue.

Basically, I'm just pissing in the wind as I appear to care about this more than the many of the coaches should or do.

It's usually the same coaches and the same programs that don't announce, though this year there are some disappointing surprises like Maryland and UCLA and Elmar Bolowich hasn't announced a single Creighton recruit since leaving Chapel Hill, where he was usually pretty good about it.

I mean, the Maryland class is basically known to anyone that wants to find it.

I set you up for that on purpose. Yes, it's unfortunate that Maryland hasn't announced yet with the pedigree of that program.

Nothing from the CT div 1 schools. CCSU does however indicate that they will be announcing soon. I am sure UCONN will be announcing in August;)
