watch the calls in Chelsea's last 3 games in CL and then, with a straight face, tell me there isn't a fix in...

After a nights sleep, I blame maxi for this loss. He picked up a stupid yellow for dissent (though I'd love to see terry shown a yellow for dissent, so much for captains armband) then a stupid reckless lunging tackle where he even knew right away it was a yellow. In games of this importance, can't lose because of your head.

Benfica played better than Chelsea from the first whistle. If they had kept 11, we'd be getting ready to lose to Barcelona right now!

It was a big game with a emotions running high and the referee was too trigger happy with the yellow cards after he called the penalty. Maxi was the captain and should have been allowed to get his say in without being shown a yellow card. Anyone else I understand being booked, but not the captain. No disputing the second yellow.

I agree with everything you wrote, just if you have a yellow already, you can't make a stupid decision for the rest of the game, and he did.

Give me a break. You can't compare the teams. Let's not even get into player salaries. Chelsea played like crap. They got away with it because Benfica lacks world class players with the right experience and finishing. Drogba was right to laugh about the draw. Too bad Benfica couldn't shut him up. Benfica played just as expected. Good passing, ball movement, etc. Horrible finishing and lack of composure. Our coach is an idiot as well. What do you expect from a small and poor country? Our best Portuguese players play abroad, so we have to sign these "awesome" athletes from south America. Please overpay and buy a few more of them from us.....

Good luck with barca.....you'll need it.

This guy is a tool. Our school and team produce way more talent then your sorry buying team ever does. No David Luiz and that ball goes in instead of being cleared.

Barcelona is going to run over you guys.

he's a ********ing idiot...let them rant...i'm gonna take soooooo much pleasure in watching Barca DESTROY their backline and have Chelshit come crashing down to the reality they should be at...and that is, they are shit...the refs conditioned the game just like they did in our match with them...UEFA have a hard-on for Brit teams and again, since we annahilated Man Shitty and took them out and Benfica took out Man ****** they had to make sure one team progressed through...watch how the refs DON'T condition the Barca game...UEFA want a REAL MAD-BARCA final...

Any feel like we could have had a slight chance being in Chelsea's position right now? Considering Barcelona were defeated by Real and played with no confidence...

I Mean Chelsea played 53 minutes with 10 players and still managed to score 2 goals in the Camp Nou and progress to the finals. We pretty much outplayed and outclassed Chelsea with 10 players ourselves in London

Just a hypothetical what if situation that got me thinking...It's a stretch but possible. As they say " the ball is round"
