    As a club coach/manager,
I heard USC UP State coach is ABBEY Crumpton in as the one. What a Joke in my Opinion?) Why are they not announcing her? As a Club and JUCO Coach I would think you want someone like this as your new HC? great hire, great player announced?????. She did well well at Anderson (sp?) Did very well, and thats why USCU hired such a winner (NOT A player).???

UNLV Has offered it out to three people, Been turned down from two. The Head Salary is low! The assistant coach $SALARY IS VERY LOW, and the 2ND assistant is part time? I hear, the camp pay is VERY LOW in VEGAS? Thats why the former staff left, from head to toe? Having to be a DI Coach, Coach Club, and High School Coach, made the old staff leave?????

Heard all the old staff was looking and told to go? I heard UNLV is looking at HC's, or young AC's? I hear?? Maybe in the mix? May have just been rumor (Assistant from OU( Who Nevada Want Back Big Time), High Point HC, and Tulsa HC was in the mix??? a # of WCC assistants?) have put info it, and been interviewed as well as been interviewed on Campus? Now this is only Rumor? Don't panic "Why Not" Its not a DIII Coach. We all know you want the JOB SOON? Its just a Joke? don't get upset? (We all know you will?) Sorry!

Francis M - may be right up your alley "Why Not"? I heard his players recorded an adult outburst that was recorded by players/Assistant Coach/trainer, and turned into the Admin, and got the resignation forces?

Cornell.... The Assistant is pressing for the JOB with the players, and parents.? I hear the parents are involved, and it has made a mess as the assistant has raised her interest for the job. But has been turned downed Twice? Was let go from TX State? Yes or No?

Heard at Vegas that one more job will be coming open soon at the DI level as well?

There is a good chunk of negative speculation here being posed as questions. These are people's reputations and livelihoods one can affect when one asks such questions. If you are correct in your speculation, then I suppose it will come out eventually. However if your speculation is wrong, then your questions are merely spreading baseless rumors which can damage the subjects. I appreciate these are college coaches and public figures but the turn this thread has taken recently seems a little over the line.

Rumors whispered/joked about on a sideline can be entertaining, however once they appear in print to a mass audience they can be very damaging. I'm not recommending spreading baseless rumors verbally, but just trying to point out the much greater impact of things printed here.

I keep editing this to stop sounding like a prig but I think maybe it's hopeless.

The search at Cornell has turned into a joke. Why? Because the AD & Asst. AD have let the process run out of control. It will be 90-days this time next week since Cornell had a coach. Early in the process several solid D-1 ACs applied but CU wanted a sitting HC. Then the position gets reposted... now the word is out and there's seems to be little interest in the job.

As far as the current AC at Cornell, my understanding is that she departed TX State on her own in order to get back to the area of the country (east coast/midwest) where she grew up and has family. Nonetheless, she does not appear to be any different from a coaching philosophy standpoint than her recently terminated CU head coach. If parents & players are involved - that tells me that the AD bloched this search because it has streched out too long. The players must simply want to know "who's goung to be our bloody leader"!

If there's no announcement after Easter, the AC may be the only interested party...

Graham from OU tried to get the Nevada job last time. He did not get an on campus interview. If they wanted him they would have hired him.

Should have hired him. They are not doing so hot. Maybe he gets it in the future? He was a great reason for the success they had. That program should be doing SO MUCH better.

He coached only goalkeepers there. I think you are overstating his impact.

His impact was, if anything, understated previously - he had a major and positive impact there. I think he was possibly avoided because of his ability to work productively with the head coach he was under. UNR's loss.

Why would he be avoided for being productive and working well under the HC? Or are you beign sarcastic?

One of my daughters played there. I am aware of his invovement with the program. He coached 2-3 players total. He did not recruit them. He joined the program after the heavy lifting was done. He was likely not hired because of some things he did poorly within the program. Cussing players out because of his own deficiencies is not the way to leave a lasting impression. I will leave it at that.

It is best to get back to the topic at hand.

Assuming the article is accurate, and it appears to be based on her decision not to challenge it and apologize, how is this woman still employed?

Did NDSU just hire a new soccer coach? Is that why you said "can't be good for a new coach?"

A female admin has something totally inappropriate to do with a Male Athlete, and she gets 2 weeks Suspension. It you listen to the Press conference that last question states something about Soccer? If this was a male they would be fired Immediately! I cant wait to hear what this is all about?
    What a Mess.

All quiet @ UNLV (some on campus candidate interviews this week) & Cornell (who knows???)... although Cornell did announce a new HC for volleyball today... former soccer HC, DL, resigned at CU the same day as the volleyball coach in mid-January.

actually paying extra for a highly qualified coach for the women's team is EXACTLY gender equity.
