Korea Rep announce friendly against Spain in Europe on 30. May , so I dont think Spain will play Iraq.
Thanks for the info, no surprises here. You can scrap off the Egypt friendly as well. Egypt's football association announced that they didn't receive a request for a friendly from the IFA.

The squad for the Egypt match: http://www.iraqfpg.com/Docs.ArabicViewer/c0957858-9d74-4656-b499-b15ed6a390fd/Default.aspx And possibly still a iran friendly but later this year.
I am watching Dortmund-Bayern; what a great player that kagawa is. Our defenders need to be at their best to stop him. BTW: We moved up 6 places in the FIFA ranking today (76->70)
Changes in the squad for the Egypt match: Mohammed Hameed instead of Jalal Hassan and Fareed Majeed for Muthanna Khalid.
Kuwait's 80's keeper? There was a very emotional game between Kuwait vs Irak in the 80's. The game was tied and there was at the last minute a penalty kick for Irak. Kuwait's goalie defended the penalty and was awarded a large monetary prize because of his did. I met Kuwait's goalie in the 90s when studying in the UK. He was slim, 1,83 m high and playboyish. I know it is a long shot but does anybody remember his name? -Thanks for any help
Who are they kidding, the arab summit alone dysregulated all normal life in Baghdad because of security reasons. Waste of airline ticktes. http://www.iraqfpg.com/Docs.ArabicViewer/cbc70a1d-8f38-48f4-8716-2e7d49e1b1fc/Default.aspx @ Vonspee: I have no idea, that was before my time.
Depends on the game. Looking only at A games there are only 2 draws near the 80's: one in 1990 and one in 1976. One of their GK was Ahmad Al-Tarabulsi (born in 1947) - too short though - only 1,70 m. Other keepers: Adam Marjam (1957) and Jasem Bahman (1958).
0-0 FT. We played a good game overall, but fatigue was a major issue. The team looked quite tired after the 60th minute. Hammadi Ahmad should get more playing time, he looked quite promising.
Indeed a decent game from our side. I can't say we played well, but our defense was solid and were good in the air. Younis is worrying me more and more after each time i see him in action. Overall a game to boost the team's confidence especially with a couple of players missing and the everlasting problem with visa's.
We have done well. In the end we had many chances to score. We need to play more friendlies, so we are well prepared for the WCQ in June. Hopefully FIFA makes a quick decision to get home games back to Iraq. That would make things a lot easier.
Iranian news agency ISNA is reporting that Iran and Iraq will have a friendly in May 26. It will be held in Turkey.
