Re: Sporting Kansas City in the Media: 2011 MLS has a feature on us today that breaks down our attacking style. Features the last minute goal against Dallas. http://www.mlssoccer.com/video/2012/03/28/between-lines-kc-pressure

Re: Sporting Kansas City in the Media: 2011 Hey vividox, any chance you can either update the thread title or split out this year's comments to a new thread?
Re: Sporting Kansas City in the Media: 2011 Anyone else go down to the Lego model unveiling? It was very well done with lots of detail.
Re: Sporting Kansas City in the Media: 2011 I went. Really cool details, down to people inside the Members Club. Worth the trip to Crown Center to see it.
in a picture I saw it looks like the roof is all one level. The detail looks awesome, but the non sloping roof is kind of a big missed detail. It is one of the defining characteristics of the stadium.
I really don't care about Lego, but yeah... scale makes a huge difference in how realistic the result is when you have a set minimum size of your building blocks. Compared to the stuff they throw in the lake (not to mention what's on display inside) at the Disney Lego store this was underwhelming. Still cool, I appreciate the effort, but not really impressive.
Most of us catch KC Star articles, but I just think this is really something from Tod Palmer on PV: http://www.kansascity.com/2012/04/06/3540845/like-father-like-son.html I dont think I knew that about PV's dad last year during the LAG game at LSP. I feel selfish about bitching about some tough officiating and a draw last year. Perspective.
Kei was featured in a segment on SportsCenter. He tweeted about it, but a quick search on ESPN for Kei Kamara should turn it up. Mostly focused on his story from being a refugee in Sierra Leone to going pro. Probably trying to drum up interest in the game on the Worldwide Leader tomorrow since Becks is out, but still really cool to see one of our guys up there. EDIT: Phrasing is hard at 2 am.
In the MLS video series Power 5 Wingmen, Graham got number 4. What I found interesting is Andrew Wiebe mentioned that Juninho said that Graham is the toughest MLS player he's played against. Never saw that quote before, but I found it: "Comment From Omar: Who is the toughest player you've played against in MLS? Juninho: Graham Zusi from Sporting KC… We have similar functions and he's a player that can think very fast and is very hard to get the ball from." Source
Apparently Jimmy Nielsen will be on Jack Harry's show tonight at 10:30 http://www.kshb.com/dpp/sports/socc...es-after-a-1-0-victory-against-real-salt-lake
