Yea probably smarter to go Chygry-Rakitsky just to be safe and keep it tight at the back. Especially since Chygry and Mykhailyk have been injured for so long, go with what has been together the longest, not to mention their our 2 best CB's. But Rakitsky is versatile, doesn't matter that he hasn't play LB he can fill in just fine and be better than anyone we have. Look at Vermaelean at Arsenal, players skillful like that are just good no matter what. Rakitsky can also play in central midfield if need be but that's not beneficial to our needs.

I think Morozyuk might have just earned himself a spot on the NT after that performance against Metalist.

Dikan might miss Euro 2012 after colliding with a knee during Spartak's game with Zenit.

Yes, I saw that. I guess that pretty much removed all the options from UNT: SaSho, Horyainov, Koval are the ones left.

I haven't seen Pyatov much, yet. Illichivets, Chornomorets, and today, Vorskla. Pyatov has appeared in three matches and you are ready to give him the run out for NT? or do you hate SaSho that much?

I saw the video and I did not think Kerzhakov was as innocent as most people think.

Well it would take a real p.o.s. to do something like that intentionally.

I do not think that he did it intentionally. i think he did it carelessly, like Welliton in the Fall.

I see what you're saying, but the Welliton incident at least wasn't life threatening. What gives this another angle is that Kerzhakov won't be getting suspended (so we think) where as Welliton got four games.

Dude if ur gonna mention Koval as a candidate than Pyatov is certainly in the running. He was Ukraine's number one for the better part of the last four years. Or do YOU hate Pyatov that much?

so its safe to assume the worst? We're simply talking about canidates and Pyatov is certainly in the mix.

I understand your point. I suppose I made more of "if the Euro started today" assessment.

LOL and I haven't seen KOVAL IN ANY GAME AND YOU MENTION HIM?! What a dynamo biased fangirl. Ready to bring an 18 year old reserve keeper for Dynamo, without mentioning Pyatov who btw was playing well until Rybka took over. Pyatov will finish the season off for Shakhtar and will have games played, so he will be ready to be one of the three keepers at the Euros.

Koval is playing. Every week. And has been. Reserves, U-19, U-21. He has not been off a day during the season.

And Pyatov was not playing well when Rybka came in, which is why he could not regain the starting position.

Konoplyanka is in red hot form the past few games, taking some amazing first touches and has all the confidence in the world like he had in spring 2010. Problem is his finishing still leaves a lot to be desired. In FIFA his finishing ability should be about 65-72.

Who else in the national team is on form? Who is out of form? How has Rakitsky looked this spring? Very worried about Sheva, only 3 games left in the season. Maybe its a good thing he's going to be so fresh come Euro's..

Funny, i've been playing that game so much that I often think in those terms when discussing a player.

Haha it works...I'm being nice with those numbers too. He had a double post shot that was unlucky. His finishing is really poor and he gets unlucky sometimes, not a good combo. But he's just in super form right now. His finish on the 2nd goal is ridiculous for a Ukrainian lol

I had to stop myself the other day when I wanted to say, "well I think player A is really about a 69 but player B to me is more of a 75." Which to most people sounds ridiculous.

I think that way, good guestimate ;) I remember using FIFA ratings as one example in the ridiculous Rusol v. Chygrynsky debates lol

Jack Wilshere out for the Euros officially.

With Rooney out for the first two games, their two best players are not missing for major periods.
