Hey everyone! I decided to join Big Soccer because I wanted to become more involved with soccer. For me, my interest in soccer began while I was an exchange student in German and saw Bayern play on tv. Since I've been back in the states I've began playing it either just shooting around by myself or having small 3 on 3 matches with a few friends. I'd really like to become more involved with other people in the Bergen County area of New Jersey. I'm starting to get bored of the shooting around and 3 on 3's so hopefully here I will be able to expand my interest. I go to NY Red Bulls games every once in a while and was just at the NYC Arsenal Suppoters event and got to meet Thierry Henry after the game. Like I said it would be really cool to get to know people around my area. I don't know if there are leagues or something for people who aren't amazing, but play just because they love the game. If so I know me and my friends might be interested and have been looking for a leage or something to join. Also, does anyone know if there is a Bayern Munchin supporters club in NJ or NY? If not, I'm thinking I will just hang around with the NYC Arsenal Supporters. By the way I'm Eddie (20yo.) I'm looking forward to learning more about soccer while I am here and I hope to get to meet some good friends here!
Greetings. I used to live in Bergen Cty also. North Jersey is a great breeding ground for soccer players. It might be a good idea to go over to the Bayern forum here on BS and ask about fan clubs. It seems to me they had a thread awhile ago that dealt with fan clubs, but I could be wrong.
