I think we are all very dissapointed with Guangzhou's performance, but its early days yet, no need to be too upset yet. I think they are suffering confidence wise after their shock defeat by Fuli at the weekend. Bcheng is right, this years CSL is going to be much more competitive, GZ are still favourites but it will be much closer. I still think they will get out of this ACL group no problem, Jeonbuk have it all to do after two heavy defeats in the first round, Kashima will win it, GZ will be second.

Jeonbuk will obviously not make it. Losing Choi Kang-Hee was very controversial to them.

Scoreless in the first half of the Jiangsu-Tianjin match. First 35-minutes were fairly even, but the last ten minutes Tianjin produced a handful of scoring chances. We'll see what happens in the second half.

It's nice to see a stadium without a track around it. It's too bad it's mostly empty.

edit: Well it's all over in Tianjin, 0-0 the final score. In the other evening match Evergrande took care of Henan. It's only been three rounds but Henan looks destine to be relegated. 0-0-3 with a -9 goal differential.

At national level we underestimated Jordan and at club level we have again underestimated Buriram. I am reminded of the now defunct Thai Farmers Bank FC which won two AFC Champions League titles in 1994 and 1995 respectively.

    Buriram 未必是昙花一现, 而是替泰足重振雄风。
    广州加油啊、中国更加要加油啊!!:)

Don't see why Shenhua's attendance is a problem, some of the other clubs, including Shenxin, are a serious problem though.

That's very odd, here's the CSL's official weibo post:
    】广州恒大VS河南建业:观众32617人;上海申鑫VS贵州茅台:观众5084人;上海申花VS广州富力:观众19000人;杭州绿城VS北京国安:观众15137人;辽宁宏运VS长春亚泰:观众15324人
    (http://www.weibo.com/1800991937/ybEJxzgg7)

Very strange that the numbers in Guangzhou and Shanghai are considerably different while the rest are the same.

I was just writing this as Yu Dabao scored the tying goal for Dalian Aerbin.

We're halfway through week four and 12 players have scored two goals, but all of them are foreign. Any guessers to which Chinese player will be the first to score two goals?

    That settles that.

    Tianjin TEDA 0-3 Nagoya Grampus.

I heard that the TEDA fans were mad and threw water bottles at the pitch.
