Once Caldas won it against a better team and with 0 suspect wins. Cucuta should have won it if they hadn't play'd in the BS fog against Cucuta. Nacional should hopefully win their 2nd this year tho

    Good luck tonight.

That Nacional will always have Escobar associated with it. Not knocking what they did but their was no black hand in Once Caldas win.

BS. Nacional won fair and square and it's about time that all Nacional haters will learn to admit it. Stop acting like Nacional was the only one with cartel.

2-2 at home sounds bad initially BUT after being down 2-1 and losing Pabon things could have been much worse.

Still the leader of the group for now...

Horrible Game. Renteria got his time on the big scenaario and blew t the hard way.

And god our defence is atrocious, if we play against a good team they will murder us on the pitch.

Peñarol game will be a nail biter if you ask me.

Nothing much to say really after another horrible performance. When Pabon went out, you can see that the players looked lost. Mac searched a player to do the double passes with him, Mosquera, despite scoring the goals was horrible. Both Alvarez & Renteria didn't do shit (How come Renteria never gets the crossed balls from the flanks?!?) and everytime that we recieve a goal, the players got into panic and start to forget from the initial plan and just cross balls into the box like ********ing English club.

As for our defense, I'd better not talk. Pezzuti has some blame in the first goal, but the wall didn't do it's job also. the second goal was pure defense mistake and we were lucky not to recieve the 3rd goal in the second half (they had two golden opportunities). I don't know which team will play on Sunday vs. DIM, but in my opinion in any case Medina-Murillo should replace Hneriquez-Tula, maybe just to give them a"slap" that will wake them up. The wholwe winning situation is now only a matter of mentality, nothing about our current form. The players know that they didn't won so long, and when they recieve goals they just panic instead of continue in the regular plan. Godoy, like every other team, closed the box very well (and they played dirty as well) and Nacional instead of shooting from long distance, tried time after time to get into the box. Very frustrating and now we better win Peñarol, otherwise we'll have to take points in Chile, and in this form we have 0 chances.

I had my reserves about Sachi, but last night every doubt was confirmed: This team rides on individual performances by Pabon, Macnely, Mosquera and Pezzutti... Poor team effort and horribly slow and uncoordinated defenders almost handled Godoy Cruz an undeserved victory...

I agree with the other posters, no real striker, weak defense and yes, poor coaching have this team struggling when they should be already classified in CL and leaders in FPC... Escobar was mostly silent on the sidelines and although the substitutions were logical, the only impact they had was the free kick that Quintero blasted on the crossbar...

Sachi has his spot because la Rosca Paisa and because of who his brother was. It's BS !!! Give this job to Torres the former Tolima coach and Nacional will win the CL, Sudamerica, Copa Colombia and at least 1 league title with the team they have.

Tula, Fano were really bad pick ups. Bernal is also not that great.

I hate how people give Sanchi so much credit guy is a huge failure

That being said Nacionals offense is so exciting to watch the goal in the 1st 3 minutes was awesome but no Pabon = no team. Kind of sad because he is def going to leave in the summer.

Crzd please take decaf, we are not nearly on a level that a team would win all tournaments easily, not even with our roster, which is showing that it is not that great.

And Macknelly plays whenever he likes to.. The bastard earns 100MM a month, and doesn't even run for the ball.

PS: I think Godoy is a pretty bad team.. really, but something I give them all props for: They run all the fucking game, they never stop giving their best effort, and that is why they gave us such a hard time. They knew that in an open game they would be stuffed with goals, but they had patience and were very organized (and parked all the buses they could find form argentina)

I would add that you could have a great roster but without proper coaching and chemistry results are not guaranteed. Is a great thing that football is not a mathematical equation...

He never has, he never will.. He will show flashes of greatness and extensive periods of inexistence...

I partially agree with you.. They have a good coach and they leave every sweat drop in the field, but they're well coached, they knwe what to do and addapted their tactics to what the game gave them... And to make things worst, Nacional made things easier with their predictability, their lack of effort and their chaos when defending.. Godoy defended with 10 men but was very effective in counterattack and pressuring the defenders, at the end they had a couple of clear chances to steal the game while Nacional only clear option in the last 15 minutes was the FK by Quintero...

What the heck are you talking about?? Mosquera played beastly this game, even with mac turning over the ball every 2 seconds. He put this team on his back and gave them a point back. I don't support Mosco all the time and can be a real lazy ass but yesterday he played a hell of a game and was voted the player of the week in Libertadores. Defense is horrible as pointed out and its the right back spot that is a huge hole in the back, and I can easily point out that its because the left and right backs attack and just don't come back to defend.

Today as pretty much solidified that we are pretty much effed if Pabon is no longer with us. He's the Boss in the front and without him we are not winning this cup. Our other strikers will not cut it. Anyway, could have been much worse and the plan was too win but we are still unbeaten in the Libertadores and hopefully confirm our spot in the next round next match against Penarol.

:confused: Beastly??? Wasn't beastly at all. His game vs. Peñarol was much better. Maybe I was overreacted and he wasn't horrible, but surely didn't play a beastly game and surely not to be player of the week. He scored a nice goal at the beginning, had couple of nice moves, had couple of horrible FK and scored a penalty. That surely not a beastly game. So he was a bit better then the others, who played suck. As for Pabon, if I herd right he'll be out for 10 days but without him we don't have a chancein the Libertadores. Right now Nacional needs to work on their worse mentality, because the fact that we didn't win for so long is "sitting" in the players mind and they are trying to keep the lead but when they recieve goals, they lost their heads.

Crzd, why don't we appoint Hernan Torres + Osorio for the NT and then we will win the world cup, Copa America & Copa Confederations
Stop posting posts like a 9-year-old kid. First, he's not a failure, even if he doesn't do well right now. Second, do you think that it's so easy? Bring a better coach and you will win everything?? What?? No Boca, Inter, Santos in this cup?? Vs. small teams it's even much harder because they simply close the game and bunkering because they know that all the pressure is on us to attack and score, so it's that easy as you write, even if Guardioka would coach us.
