Why go for an undervalued potential great performer when there is an overvalued underperformer for the taking....

    Sasha Juniors
    Out: Taraabt MF QPR
    In: Kuyt MF LIV

It will be positively dreamy if Kuyt hits a hat trick and Glen Johnson is red carded for a little gotcha with transferring in former players of other squads with Vegas Virgins.

Sasha Juniors not only has the most overpriced underperforming midfielders but a full collection of Chelsea players who enjoy sitting on the bench together. I see transfer penalties on the horizon.

OK. Glorydaze welcomes him back since we started with him. Wolves are falling down a bit and just possibly Chicharito will see more of the field from inside the lines.

All are welcome in the first church of captain-free FPL. Have you read our literature on the need to reform pricing, bonuses, and finally give some love to dmids? ;):D

Yeah the europa league thing is annoying. Giggs scored 32pt over his previous 5 Prem appearances and he was playing in the Prem not in the round 32 europa so I pick him up. He has played 30min since then for 1pt but played most of their round 16 first leg loss. Silva was rested last week so, I assume, he could play all 90 in ManCity's europa loss. I'm just glad I have less exposure to this risk than some people.

hey - let's give credit where credit is due. i paid a healthy 11.0 for Gerrard all the way back in gw5 and have been holding on ever since in expectation for this game.....

and, don't worry about any turnaround. i'm just trying to keep it interesting. i'll find a way to mess this up. :)

i've been sitting in 8th since gw11. last week, i jumped to 7th on Saturday, but LSG went back past me on Sunday. this week, it happened again with the Saturday/Sunday back and forth, but fortunately for me the GW wasn't over yet. a good score by FCS still means a healthy margin to 6th, but I can at least see FCS and Sasha again, so that provides a little bit of hope. it's always to squash them when they're down and not let them have any hope, so i appreciate you guys going easy on me. i'm as content as i might possibly be given my diminished budget due to losses over the season, but i don't find much comfort in chasing Rooney and Lampard teams at teams at the moment.

and, on a historical note, it is interesting to see LSG and my dawgs both in the relegation zone together as this is the 5th season in a row that we have competed in the same league together, as we both won promotion in Sand in 07-08 and then in VSR in 08-09 and have now survived a few seasons in Small. unless we see a little shake up here at the end, we could be set to make yet another move at the same time, albeit this time in the wrong direction.

Damn .... hesitated to bring him back and lost.

Gave him up when it appeared Welbeck had taken the EPL slot next to Rooney, only to see him play last weekend. Should have jumped as soon as that team was announced.

Now he will come to haunt me.

    Damn.

    go, go, go.

the relegation race is heating up, and Sasha Jrs is so confident that they're tossing points out the window. this is exactly what i like to see.

i suppose i shouldn't say anything and encourage you to keep on doing what you're doing. go, go, go. :D

But remember the last time he did this. GW 26. 4 transfers and 1 head fake (Valencia out and then back in)

New players = 31 points that week
Players gone = 3 points that week

Big hit in fees, but a plus move none the less.

Happy to have the Little Pea back in the fold where he belongs. He brings back to us stories of raucous and bawdy behavior that distracted him from reaching his potential with his previous club. We plan to keep a close watch on him here. (Seriously:rolleyes:...he said "damn" twice you know)

Guys if it hasn't become obvious, I really can't sustain this fantasy football thing any longer. I was actually very much on the fence after last season and only decided in July to give it another go. This year I find I'm even busier and less engaged than ever - even now to the point of letting transfer deadlines blow past. I'm glad to see my team in last place as I wouldn't be coming back next season anyway, but I'm sorry I couldn't maintain a more active presence at least until the end of the season. I'll do what I can to keep my team from being completely inactive, but it's certain that I won't be returning. Thanks to everyone for all the great cups, the great banter, and the great challenges over the years.

We are truly sorry to see you go. I have enjoyed the competition and more so the camaraderie since I joined in Sand some years ago. I wish you well in all the things that you are so focused on now and hope there is a chance we will see you again in the future.

What if i promise that you can have Foster next year? :D

Of course, this announcement now probably guarantees that you will go on a crazy run for the rest of the year, led by Newcastle's Cisse. As I mentioned previously, it's been five straight years that the two of us have been in the same division together, including a nice run of promotions together. You've had my number on a head-to-head basis for a couple of years in Small. I'll drink a little toast to you next time I'm at a bar watching a game, and definitely shoot me a PM if you're ever out this way in any travels.

the postscript this week appears to be give these moves a decent grade, with the two defenders covering the penalty points this week and Tarv announcing that he'll be using the nickname Tarvez for the balance of the season in honor of the feisty Argentinian. if we're getting really picky, he might have picked a different Arsenal defender and/or just allowed Taiwo to come off the bench, but it's at least a B+ for now, with loads of upside to justify it.

mind you, my primary motivation is to encourage him to keep making excess transfers.... ;)
