88' substiutes duo did it, Cerngrocevic cross-pass to Chojnowski and she scores from 5m (although i think should've been offside, waiting to see the higlights)

90' after brilliant solo action by Marozsan and center to PK area, unmarked Garefrekes header make it 3-0.

Better Frankfurt play in 2nd half was rewarded by goals mostly by changing players positioning, subs and lesser Malmo players stamina. Saying that however I can't see them winning CL with those kind of performance they've showed today.
    Kumagai stayed on the bench.

Good Lord, how beautiful she is!!!
Really, isn't she....? Oh, I just can't find words, she's too much beyond words... :p

Does the article say anything new about her or her injury?

(rapidly sneaks to paste one of this pics, or maybe both, on the Hottest Women's player thread...)

You probably missed this Asahi Shimbun's article that I posted here some one month and a half ago? :D
    http://ajw.asahi.com/article/sports/soccer/AJ201202040023

Apparently, the fact that Wambach chooses to play in the forthcoming 2012 Nadeshiko League is still a possibility...

Sigh, had much work today and was forced to miss the match.
I am anyway happy: a) that Frankfurt passed the turn (it wasn't easy for sure, also considering that they were just looking like they wanted to start another losing streak... :p); b) Since Kumagai was benched, at least I didn't miss a match where i could have seen her play... :p

Wow, so she's going to get some playing time with OL? That's gonna be great for her career... ^__^

Good for her, this is the CL after all. Did she come in from the bench, I suppose? Any impressions good or bad?

Kumugai will play in the CL semis because (per the Cl forum) DF Bartusiak will be suspended due to 2 yellows. Still am surprised she did not play in MF today, perhaps someone was coming back from injury?

:D I knew that. But speculation is one thing, and heading to Japan for some sushi and actually joining INAC's training camp in Kagoshima, well, is kind of a different dimension, so I was wondering if there has been something in-between I missed?

Yep. Good impression, she didn't look out of depth at all, she was very strong, displayed a great jumping abilities, she likes to be in the box and pick her shots.

Who knows? Maybe Wambach and Sawa met in Algarve and secretely plotted something? :D

By the way: is there a particular reason because in INAC's rooster there is no player with jersey #12?

aren't #12 usually reserve for "fans or supporters"? The 12th member on the pitch, that sort of thing.

btw, that's just my guess, I dunno why...

The article is an interview with some fashion magazine.
They took her up probably as one of her generation's role models.

So the contents are mainly irrelevant with specific football scenes, more about her general life attitude.

0-1 Potsdam at 39': Babett Peter had a shot deflected by a awkward Rossiyanka's DF in her own goal.

At 41' Yuki Nagasato missed an über-sitter, her old style...

Why do some Rossiyanka's players wear silly numers like #80, #90, #99?

Edit: LOLOLOL at Yuki Nagasato goal in first half's extra-time! :D
Rossiyanka defense likes giving goals away: this time is was GK kindly leaving the ball just on Yuki's feet, so she only had to gently pull it into goal (sometimes neither Yuki can really miss... ^__^)

I am watching it on this feed, that I had posted in the CL thread: http://www.sportlemon.tv/v-2/18/46/v-384778.html

Not sure if it's better than yours, but it's quite OK, despite some annoying ads from time to time.

Lol, seriously, I guess this poor Rossiyanka's GK now just wants to die...
She gave away another goal to Yuki (that subsequently was subbed at 81', along with Anonma), in the exact same way as in first half...

Ok, if it was an extreme test, we now know for sure (2 hits on 2 chances) that Nagasato can score when a GK puts the ball in front of her, at 4-5 meters from the goal.

Now, the next step is: Yuki must get some hours of target practice in front of the goal EVERYDAY, so she doesn't miss "normal" sitters anymore! :D
(and by "normal", I mean obvious sitters that, though, are coming from an action, and not from a masochistic GK saying to you: "Please, Mistress, score a goal to me 'cause I deserve it")

You and a few others are making ad hominem arguments, and replacing/obscuring the original issue with the new, unrelated critiques about me. The issue I raised was that you and a few, who do not know Japanese language, acted like you knew what happened in the Andou incident based on what you allegeldly read on the Andou’s Japanese language web site with Google Translates. “After” I questioned about your understangs of the issue, you stated that it was a mixture of assumptions and facts, and you are entitled to freely express your “opinion”. However, the statements by you and related members were presented as “explanation s” of, rather than “opinions” about, the incident. It seems to me it matters less if your assumptions turned out to be close to the facts . Rather, it matters more if you clarified what were your estimates and what were the facts you confirmed. What you later called a “mixture” of assumptions and facts could be premature and inconsiderate for the sensitive and human issue like the Andou incident for the quiet majority of Japanese people.

Now, you and related members are playing an ad hominem game to replace the (original) issue above with the critiques of me including 1)my English is poor, 2)I was angered by the Andou incident, and irrationally throwing my anger against you, a few members, or all the members on the forum, 3) I did not see the video of the game, 4)I am a dick. I know that you know if I agree with these points. And I probably know if you really believe in these points. All these points maybe correct, all these maybe false, but anyway they are irrelevant to the Issue I originally raised. This means that even if all the ad hominem critiques of me are correct, it would not reject or support the concern I raised.

One member stated that everything was fine in the forum before my post. I agree that a majority of members have all the rights to keep the forum comfortable to them. I will be (as I was) quiet on the forum. Your comfortable boys’ club on the forum remains intact. Thank you.

I know much fun has been made of Google translations. Bing translation does an equally awful job, but has some interesting ones. My favorits is for Mizuho Sakaguchi. It is either "Dream Ears" or "Dreams of Harvest".

Here's some video highlights of the Potsdam win over Rossiyanka - here - I dont think Yuki's miss was necessarily an automatic goal. Actually the GK was not to blame for her 2nd drop, and otherwise made some amazing saves.

The video was super-cool, I liked the "wounded shark" phrase... :p

And here we have today's brace-maker:

Not sure if the miss was or wasn't a sitter, but if our dear Yuki could only hit the goal more often, she would make hat-tricks day-in day-out. And that's what we all want, don't we? :D

I'm happy for both Yuki and Saki, speciall Yuki, she scored 2 goals, but not always GK was going to be so awful gifting her the 2 goals, next round is semifinals vs. Lyon, she must fight some more to get score more goals, at least 2 german teams will play second game home, that's a little advantage and 3 of the 4 teams have some japanese member in the squad, that's great :D

Japan vs the US match will be held on 1st April, and aired live on regular broadcast.

And almost at the same time, the women's free of figure skating world championship, one of the most popular programs in Japan, will be aired on another channel, though it's not live.

So, this can be kind of touchstone for Nadeshiko's popularity.
