They're a reasonable reflection. A player like Moor needs do a bit more than have a great week however. He hasn't excelled in his previous national team stints.

The guy DID give us this...

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ht15iDv--DI"]Altidore's First USMNT Goal (Version #2) - YouTube[/ame]

That was a DAMN fine cross... I'd never let him play right back outside of CONCACAF minnows really, but the guy can definitely ball...

Good memories. Still can't get over that cross. It's been four years.

If you are just looking for a longer streak in the Castrol Rankings, Moor finished at seventh over the whole of last year.

Velaquez, Gil, Schurler, Beckerman and Rimando all starting for RSL today should be a good one

CJ sapong got his second goal of the season today, Grahm zusi also got one seth sinovic is also looking very good at LB (two assists today) also the Revs are completely falling apart red card in the first 10 minutes and their midfield is failing to connect

Edit: seth Sinovic only has one assist,

Just got home from the RSL game. Velasquez and Gil both did very well. Schuler did ok, but he has to work on his footwork and distribution.

The most interesting part, however was Thierry Henry. I don't know if this is Hnery just being crazy good, or the rest of NY being tactically inept, but whether he had the ball or not he was controlling the play of NY every time. He would direct where people should pass the ball or what should they do with his finger/arm and then when he had it he would distribute the ball very well. It was crazy seeing how every new york player would basically always look at henry to see what they should do. Then he almost had that crazy bycicle kick goal and he saved another goal in the dying moments of the game.

If anyone can tell us how wenger and rowe did that would be great.

Rowe barely saw the ball in the first half and was subbed off at halftime , it probably didn't help that NE had a defender red carded in the 14th minute, SKC was running circles around NE the entire game and the NE midfield just couldn't click.

Wenger only played the last 22 and didn't do anything remarkable in that time from what I saw, I think we will need a bigger sample size before we can judge him

Wenger came on and ran around a bit. That's about all I can say for him. I'm unconvinced that he's anything other than a marginal forward and Montreal are being extremely short sighted by playing him there.

As long as he's still taking classes, I find it hard to see any other way of working him into the team.

Im so happy for Estrada, I always knew he had the potential to be a good forawrd in this league. True it might be only the 2nd game into the season but hes been on form since preseason being there leading scorer. Hope he cements a starting spot. He makes very smart runs that disrupts defences and is usually a clinical finisher as you saw today scoring a hat trick. Keepit up David! :D Also, Zusi and Sapong did good today. Sinovic maybe developing into a potential usmnt LB? hopefully :p

Mario looks like he is going to get some sort of shaken baby syndrome. :p

BTW Jalil Anibaba could be someone to take a look at on Defense as EXALIFTIN mentioned in the original post. He can play both CB and RB if need be.

Rapids @ Union about to kick off. Should be a solid game, despite Adu's absence.

Mwanga probably the best player in the 1st half. MacMath hasn't had to do much.

Tony Cascio showed good composure with that goal. Can see why Ives has him as a dark horse rookie of the year candidate

It was a pretty bad finish. He got extremely lucky. MacMath should have stopped that shot. Cascio shot it right at him plus that chance may have been created because of a non-call.

If you see in the replay you can see how he lead him to the right a lil and took a hard shot to the left. Macmath got a foot to to it but wasn't enough.
