    a quote about play there

"It is a big adventure to play there. You fly six hours to a game and there are big differences in altitude. It saps your strength. It lacks in tactics and technical ability. It can be better compared to the II. Bundesliga."
„Dort zu spielen ist ein großes Abenteuer. Da fliegst du sechs Stunden zu einem Spiel, hast große Höhenunterschiede. Es zehrt an der Kraft“, sagt Frings und ordnet das Niveau seiner Kollegen nicht allzu hoch ein: „Es fehlt etwas an Taktik und Technik. Es ist mit der zweiten Bundesliga zu vergleichen.“

"I once had a funny experience in the Philippines. I arrived there and they said 'You have to be on the field in 2 hours'. That, of course, was a bit hard but I usually settle in well, probably because I'm still young or I enjoying doing this, so it's very positive"
"I never really had much contact to the phillipinos, I met some at celebrations of my mother, but I've never been in the Philippines and to be honest, I don't know what I would have said...anyway, what I've seen so far was a big experience for me and I would have done that again."

"Well my name is certainly extraordinary there, it's a bit difficult for them, they always say Muller because they don't have an ü, it's exotic for them."

National anthem. "Singing? Not really, rather humming, I'm a bit unsure with the text, but I try my best and have learned a bit." His mother: "I'm helping a bit but he still has to learn a lot"

"Mainly, It's my dream to play for Duisburg's pro team and I'm doing everything to fulfill that. Of course, it would be great to do both, play for Duisburg and the National Team, but the club is top priority"

To play a good role in the EPL both players have to change their attitude. Marin must do less diving and Podolski must stop being a sunshine player (plays well when the team plays well and stops playing on bad days) and show more consistence.

I'm afraid that Steffan Wessels is regarded to be a bit of a joke in the Danish league ... and surely the poorest goalkeeper they ever had at this level in Odense, but due to injury problems they have not been able to let him go and he still get to play, because they don't really have other options...

The young German striker Marvin Pourie is on the other hand having great success at the moment, after a rather slow start at Silkeborg, he has now managed to score 4 goals in their last 3 games (and 7 Superliga goals in all this season). :)

You mean the same Stefan Wessels who was last seen as the back-up keeper of a team relegated from Germany's second division? Now that's a shocker.

Yes, Wessels was signed by Odense to replace former Manchester United keeper Roy Carroll who got a free transfer... and that was no doubt a huge mistake by Odense... I guess they had just looked at the fact, that Wessels used to be a backup at Bayern and Everton and had played more than 50 games for Köln in the Bundesliga, so they took him in, not really knowing what they were getting.... the biggest Odense mistake however, was to let Anders Lindegaard go on a free transfer a few years back, because they did not believe he would become good enough.. now of course he is playing for Manchester United, while Odense are stuck with Wessels :ROFLMAO:

Should be interesting to see what will happen to Lazio. Looks like no EL and maybe they will have to go to Serie B. In that case he'll probably move.

    Where to?
