Cesc went down easy, but Cisma was basically asking for the PK with that arm raised.

Reports are saying Messi is the first player in La Liga history to score 30+ goals in three consecutive seasons. Another record bites the dust.

    EDIT:
Messi also the first player in Spanish football history to score 50+ goals in two seasons. Another record......

So far the ref's been alright, IMO, even before the PK. Maybe he's a colchonero? :p

Cuenca, another "bamboozle," another shot off the post...

How many points would we be leading the league by if all those shots went in? (that's one for you trolls)

yeah, thought that would be a yellow for Cesc for sure - the PK was deserved I just mean the way the season has gone for us with the refs in La Liga

With all the chopping down that's going on are we playing LPB or Racing? Valdes, twice now with butterfinger hands.

Xavi off, Keita on. Pedro really needs to align his shooting boots, man oh man, that pass after the amazing turn and dish by Messi should have been number three. Too bad Messi didn't score when he was in one on one....Alvaro actually did something else besides foul today. I think the ref has been below average for sure.

PEDRO another miss, Fernandez was so far off his line, he should have run around him and gently roll the ball into the net. That was a Fabregas pass too, right?

No, sorry. Only heard that Thiago expected back in group training next week. No recent updates on Abidal or Alexis. At this point in our most injury-riddled season since when(?) I am just happy Puyol is back and that Thiago should be ready by next weekend (plus no mid-week game). Gotta assume Abi and Alexis will both be ready in 2 weeks or less.

Absolutely in terms of forward the "fantastic four" up front - Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Henry, and Messi was so limited in terms of actual PT that both Bojan and Gio Dos Santos had major PT.

BUT beyond the forwards we did not really suffer to much right? Milito joined that year but his 1st injury came in Pep's first year.

I've typed too much today I think....so it was a good match by us, we got three points and Messi scored twice. Would have been nice if Tello or Pedro scored, but oh well.

You're right, I can't remember if Iniesta was injured that year or not. I think Milito suffered his injury in the Champions League semi-final loss to Man U from that same season. It was towards the business end of the season anyways. I don't think he even played that first season under Pep. However, I've been known to mix these things up.

Correct. The injury wasn't noticed until the team arrived back home, as I recall. I don't even think Milito appeared at the Gamper a few months later as he was in Argentina recovering... and I think there were doubts at the time whether he would be kept. Or was that the '09 Gamper?

Don't think we have ever done. Could be in the NSR forum if there is one.
