Tatsuya were a joke yeah, but do you rate Despotovic?

I think if he had any other nationality, he wouldnt even be close to being a regular for Urawa.... He's almost as bad as Diogo who were at Consadole last season ( now at Tokushima)...

nipponbase83. Did Kakitani played for Cerezo and if so how he did?

Also it is Renato show in Kawasaki. Naoki Soma shall be pleased. ;)

    P.S. Really like Frontale jerseys

No, he was on the bench I think but didnt make it on the pitch. They used Branquinho instead, who had a decent game, but nothing special. Maybe Kakitani will be given a chance in the next match, atleast as a sub.

    LOL

    Agree 100%

    Well, what can we say?
It seems that Gamba will really have a tough time this year.
But Vissel.. they have a huge shot this year of making a record in their club. Best position in J-League history last year, with the 9th place. They could do so much better this year than the last one.

Good draws for Consadole and Sagan: especially the second team could be happy, Cerezo has a good potential this year. Not anyone has Kakitani, Kiyotake, Borges and Kim Bo-Kyung in front.

Vegalta never stops! Really happy for them, i hope they can mantain J1 again. Kashima.. bah. I can't really see any improvement from last year, it's kind of an old team, for age and mentality.

There are three things certain in life: death, taxes and one penalty scored by Kennedy every game. :p

Urawa: the place where you change everything to change nothing.

how come there are less than 19000人 in Todoroki?!
The place seems packed from TV...
or maybe the the full-capacity listed at 25000 is fake?

Often the mainstand ( which is most expensive) sell less tickets than the others stands, and that is usually where the TV-cameras are as well so maybe there were lots of open seats there.

Still think it's been a nice crowd so far though in J1! seems packed in Omiya-game too.

I suggest to wait for more probant tests for judging Vissel.
They would have suffered today playing at the pace i've seen from Albirex or Frontale.
Today they were well-ordered and diligent, but they scored those 3 goals against Gamba stop-motion defence, and still weren't safe until the very end.

It's good that they started showing offsides. This time FC Tokyo was robbed...

Not a good week for neutrals

Only one match with more than one goal. :(

    Five 1-0 matches
    Two 0-0
    One 3-2

Hopefully tomorrow's J2 matches will be more exciting.

Definitely. I was surprised to see the replays! But did that "handball" against Omiya get called correctly? I thought it looked ok (Disclaimer: was watching a dodgy stream, with no audio as well, on my keitai)

I felt sorry for Omiya, they were well in it til the goal came, but it was a great finish by Lucas. After that the game swung more in FCT's favour.

That'd be good if this "robbed" word disappeared from football. When there is no intent to harm anyone, it is called a mistake.
