The U19 game is cancelled due to the Frankfurt airport strike. Lufthansa flights to Croatia were cancelled.

Where did this Yordanov guy become a sensation? What is his background? Sounds Bulgarian.

Germany u21 vs Greece u21 just started. 3 great attacking moments already from Germany. Gundogan hit the bar in one of them. Great combination between Gundogan and Rudy in the other one. Exciting stuff. I dont understand why Lasogga is started instead of Beister but they will still win.

Another brilliant attack with Rudy making a very good shot in the end and the goalkeeper making a good save.

Good stuff from Jantschke... but the team looks a bit disorganized. Is Holtby officially not eligible for the U21 anymore?

He just came back from a long injury and that's why he wasn't nominated. Leitner also not part of the squad due to injury.
So this team is missing Herrmann, Leitner and Holtby...

I kinda feel bad for Kevin Trapp and Oliver Baumann. Both good GK, who will not likely play for the senior NT.

He's done very well, surprised he is playing at LB though.

That's great isn't it? I mean such versatile in such a young age. Could be the little Lahm.

Germany u21 were spectacular in the first 20 something maybe 30 minutes but after that it just did not feel right. I dont know what happened. They still had a lot of good moments and chances to score. Gundogan looked like Zidane out there. Really fantastic performance from him. It's shame he cant score a goal to save his life. Maybe he should take shooting lessons from Okan Aydin( [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hX4ntt3sHs"]Okan Aydin Skills & Goals HD 1080p (Official Okan Aydin Support) - YouTube[/ame] ). And I wonder if Sebastian Rudy has Andrea Pirlo as his role model coz he plays exactly like him and he has a long hair too. He needs to bulk up and with experience and a good coach he can become a really really good player.

Did you really tell us anything about him ? I must have missed that.

Arab technique with German discipline and all that, eh ? :)

Probably because this was months before you joined BS :p

I never noticed any "Arab technique", though, whatever that may be.

I joked about that because Oezil once said that he has made it thanks to his Turkish technique and creativity and German discipline.

Serge Gnabry seems to develop very good at Arsenal. He's already a regular in the reserves (up from the u18s). Here's a little highlight video of his game last week against chelsea reserves. It's not spectacular but you can see the potential. And he's only 16!

Serge Gnabry has played a lot of Reserve games already and has impressed in all of them and he has been scoring goals for fun with the u18s. The last player who was too good for the reserves and the u18s at the age of 16 was Jack Wilshere and look how he turned out. I seriously think Serge Gnabry will make a name for himself at the age of 18 like Goetze,Hazard,Wilshere,Chamberlain and the likes.
