Well, might as well start a designated thread for this instead of clogging up the Preseason schedule thread. Game 1: Los Angeles vs New England 8 PM EST Game 2: New York vs Salt Lake 10 PM EST Game Link
From the Galaxy Twitter feed: #LAGalaxy Starting XI: Saunders; Keat, Meyer, DeLaGarza, Dunivant; Noonan, Sarvas, Beckham, Magee; Buddle, Cristman #Revs Starting XI: Reis - Tierney, Lozano, McCarthy, Barnes - Feilhaber, Joseph, Simms, Rowe - Brettschneider, Sene
Buddle puts one about 6 inches over the bar. And what is with the Audi A8 sitting down near that corner flag?
Would be sweet if LA's kit had blue shorts. Actual Game related comment: Saunders with a great save (regardless of it being hit right at him)
I know it's just preseason, I know it isn't necessarily predictive of anything - but it seems like LA have given up a bunch of goals off set pieces in the preseason. They might have gotten used to Gonzalez taking care of everything in the air.
Sene has looked pretty good for the Revs. Good hold up play. He's the one who played the Bayern Munich reserve team, right?
Yeah, but part of that will be solved when Leonardo is healthy, which is within the first couple weeks of the season IIRC.
As expected NYRB starts a bunch of reserve players. The first team should get a full run out tomorrow in their game against Pumas. #RBNY Starting XI: Vuolo (GK), Borrajo, Ruthven, Alvarez, Lade; Barklage, Maduro, Palsson, Ballouchy; Arteaga, Hertzog #RBNY Substitutes: Tuttle, Forko, Welker, Chirgadze, Angulo #RSL starting XI: Reynish (c); Tanaka, Cruz, Salcedo, Laing; Alvarez; Muniz, Martinez; Velasquez; Bonfigli, Arnoux Of interest for RSL is Salcedo who is an Academy player while Laing and Tanaka are both trialists. Edit: As asoc pointed out, Leone Cruz is not an academy player like I originally had him listed as.
