Not a huge surprise. Good for Brek.

A Texas sweep for the men as Clint Dempsey won for Male Athlete of the year.

    Congrats, Brek. :)

A great honor for him, but I suspect it only increases the chance he'll eventually head off to Europe.

Any idea when we can expect him to move overseas?

I assume he's going to the Olympics (assuming USA qualifies), so if he has a good one it might be this summer. Otherwise, depending on this season, maybe next January.

    Yup.

I say we have one more season of Brek in an FCD jersey.................

One thing to consider is we could miss Brek this season for both the Olympics and USMNT friendlies/WCQers this season.

We have a nice alternative in playing Castillo there.

Actually with both Chavez and Jackson gone Castillo may be one of the starters. A position of strength is very shaky at the moment.
