Paik Seungho scores twice today, in a 7-0 victory. Donning the #10 jersey.

I love that awkward moment when you think your team might score so you get up halfway like you're walking to get more toilet paper, then you shoot up like Jordan when the ball goes in.

Lots of footage of Lee and Jang at the "II memorial roberto ielasi" tournament. Jang scored 1 and Lee scored a hattrick in one game, in which they beat Lazio 7-0. But they lost to Roma 2-0 in the semis//

Footage vs. roma: both Lee and Jang start, #'s 19 and 11, respectively
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIn1zpyy5f4"]Roma - Barcellona 2-0 - YouTube[/ame]

also, something interesting is going on with Paik seung ho. He still plays as a mid in Barca's 4-3-3. He's not much of a goalscorer, scoring 7 all year last year and scoring 0 in his first 5 games this year. But in the last 6 games Paik has scored 6...

    Greetings.

A couple of days ago at the video from the CSKA U21 team training camp two Korean young players were spotted. Then they took a part in the friendly against FC Motherwell U19 team. Just a hour ago a Russian sport paper reported that one of them have joined the first team training camp in Spain.
It was also said that one of the CSKA sponsors, Huyndai, asked for trials for two young players from their team (the team's name was not stated). On of them, Kim In So (probably bad spelling as it is a inverse translation from Russian), made a very good impression and was invited to the first team camp.
So, can I ask for help in determining the identities of these two players. Kim is a midfielder, in the friendly played as the right winger. Second player, Yon (also not sure of spelling and do know only a family name) played as the right fullback.
    Thank you very much!
PS. Video from training is here: http://pfc-cska.com/media/video/?id=1724
both can be seen there, Yon is that with ginger hair.
Video from the match is here: http://pfc-cska.com/media/video/?id=1725
Kim is that speedy winger on the right side

If and when you get a close up photo of him, try comparing him to the following picture. [If it doesn't match, do post the photo as someone here might be able to find his name and profile for you.]

His name is Kim Chulyun and he happens to be one of the better players not in Korea's youth set up right now. In my mind, he's better than some of the players in the current U19 side and CSKA Moskva would be lucky to have him--if, of course, Moskva's 'Kim' is indeed this Kim.

Because of his age, he had to decide during this winter either to turn professional or to join a university club. I haven't heard any news regarding him since he got injured last summer, so it may be possible that he's going through trials with different clubs.

I've tried to follow the info that both are from the team owned by Hyundai (cars) so have looked at the Jeonbuk youth team. Their English site unfortunately does not have youth players info, so I've tried to randomly click at Korean version and found this page: http://www.hyundai-motorsfc.com/youth/youth_club_01.asp
Google translate says that there is one Kim (# 11) and one Jeon (# 27). Unfortunately it didn't translated # 11 name fully. Is it right and can it be that he is that Kim?

    20. Kim Dae-hyuk
    17. Kim Shin
    10. Kim Hyun
    1. Kim In-Suk (I'm guessing you're not looking for a keeper though.)

Also, from the Jeonbuk page you posted, there is no one with a surname even close to Yon.

Thank you for help, I suppose nothing can be done more until a new information will be released somewhere. If by a chance there will be a new info from Korean sources, please let me know. I will also share any news coming from Russia. Thank you.

You are completely off if you think Jeonbuk--as per the request of Hyundai, no less--will allow their own players to try out for another club. If anything, that's a snobby gesture to make at a foreign forum. For you, your club may mean the world, but around here, or to any of those kids at Jeonbuk's U18 team, your club stands for jack.

The two kids at trial are most likely to be some unlucky, no-name youths destined to get nowhere that Hyundai picked up on--this is why I suggested Kim Chulyul. Either that or they are players belonging to an agent close to one of Hyundai's employees.

There is nothing a club can do to its youth players. They are no professionals, so they are free to go where they want.
And I don't see why you are assuming them to be some leftovers. Russia is not a bad destination, especially if it is CSKA.

You must really suck at reading comprehension, because I was clearly responding to Tigr's hopes that the newest player in his club would be some goldmine youth from one of the best U18 side in Korea. He also thought Hyundai would handily deliver their own youth to his club, I didn't. Whatever your problem is with my post, you need to get over it.

And just so you know, you are wrong. Russia is a bad destination. I am more than happy to acknowledge that a top, Moskva-based club like CSKA Moscow is one of the exceptions, but Russia in general is a bad destination, especially if you have options in a much more familiar territory known as Japan, or, for obvious reasons, Korea.

If he was one of Jeonbuk's youth, then someone [ie. I] would have picked up on him. He isn't. End of story. If Tiger is to be believed, it was Hyundai's proposal to test these players. Why do you suppose it would be in the right mind of Hyundai to ask their own club's youths to be trialed elsewhere? Your argument makes no sense.

In a system where the number of youth teams far exceed the number of university clubs, and where the number of university clubs far exceed the number of K-League clubs, it isn't necessary a terrible thing to be left out. Every other kid fails to make it through the closing exit and is left off on the other side--hence why I used the word 'unlucky'. If you don't understand the system, then there is no room for you in this discussion.

Also, I have never indicated any of these players to be left overs. They could have been players getting steady minutes in a decent university side [more likely], just as much they could have been a recent high school graduates without a club [less likely], or someone stuck in the reserves in Korea [least likely]. I just said they were most likely players nobody picked up on, and not anyone belonging to a youth system of a professional club, nor anyone who is recognizable simply by their name. If you are good enough for CSKA Moscow, and you have in one way or another made a name for yourself at one of high school or university level, then you are good enough to get offers from Japanese clubs, which then means you shouldn't be in Russia trialing right now, as Japan is a far safer option.

As another indicator to the reality that he isn't such an important player to whoemver club-- whether it be a university side or professional--it is that he belongs to, he is going through trials in the middle of January, a period of time in Korea/Japan in which most other kids his age are going through the most important training for the upcoming season.

At the beginning I'd want to state that I absolutely mean no disrespect in my words to Korean football at whole, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC or any fan from this subforum. If you felt insulted by my words, please blame the fact that English is not my native language - so some time I have to use dictionaries to help myself, and my nearly full ignorance in Korean football.
I've started from Jeonbuk simply because they are the first result on the Google search for "Hyundai football club" (actually the second but I was smart enough to read that Ulsan Hyundai do belong to different commercial entity).
While I can be wrong in that case, usually there are two reasons (often combined) when a club - any club - is not against the idea that their player is going for trials to another club - if they are thinking they do not need him or they are expecting a hefty sum to be pay.
I have to admit that I've slightly misread the original info. It was not "... is playing for a club owned by Hyundai ..." but "... is playing for a club financed by Hyundai ...". While it's often the same, it may not be so in this case. Maybe someone have an idea what other clubs do match?

A new set of photos made at the CSKA training camp was made today and while that two are not from the best of the angles, maybe someone will recognize a familiar face?

New little bit of info, today was said that he is coming from "Korean second league" which probably means KNL. Is there a club financed by Hyundai Motors?
