That happened to me a lot with my F50.8's and it was awful. I started tying all of my boots with the so-called "runners loop" and haven't had a problem since and my heel is locked down which feels great.
i use the runners loop (where you make a loop either side of the top 2 lace holes correct?) weird but it feels better and comfier
Do any of you guys think that nike might have got their ctr ii colorway from noor's nike id ctr i colorway (http://nimg.sulekha.com/sports/original700/mohammed-noor-2010-5-7-15-0-0.jpg)? I have a feeling he will fancy the ctr iii launch colorway as well.
The White/Purple Maestri IIs were on sale for $144 , bought them and got overnight shipping with the $180 Voucher I had lol Now they're out of stock all the sudden. Hopefully they fit
Does anybody think there will be any football related news in the Nike "Make It Count" press conference scheduled for the 19th January? The logo on the site is the Nike+ version, I'm sure we would of seen pics but could it possible we will see some Nike+ boots? Quote from the website: "On 19.1.12, NIKE will make an announcement that changes the game. "
Just got the White/Purple Maestri IIs...Jesus Christ...they are so comfy and light as well. Its like they were broken in already compared to my Vapors after 3-4 practices and 1 match. I can't wait til Sunday to debut them
Anyone who has the laser IV give me a little review, seen some cheap on ebay, and after finding my laser III-k remembered how much i actually liked them, and wouldn't mind trying the IV. From what I've seen the sole plate is basically the elite plate and the upper is really thin but thats really it.
Eh? The sole is nothing like the carbon found on the elites. I don't have the IV, but my friend does so i'll post his thoughts. The synthetic is really comfy, soft, and they feel light enough. Never had a problem with traction either.
I just received the Laser IVs in the Red/White/Grey color way but have yet to use them because an busy with the Adidas F50 MiCoach. These Laser IVs are Kanga-Lite so I do not know if you wanna hear my opinion.
The laser 3 is a completely different boot than the IV. especially the k-leather version. The III was super thick. From the leather to the shot shield elements. Suede heel liner. Overall a very comfy boot though. The IV is kanga-lite. It's thinner but doesn't quite have that natural leather touch from the get go. The shot shield has completely changed. It's minimal. Not as thick. No suede heel liner. The boot is lighter. IMO you can't compare the two because they've changed everything about the laser III. Now that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. All I'm saying is dont expect the experience to be the same. The laser IV to me seems like a ctr with more rubber. I haven't personally tried them myself but I've heard from a lot of people that the two boots are very similar in terms of feel.
I know i was mainly getting at that i like the laser range and wanted to try the new lasers, I don't think I'd get the kanga lite version and theres better deals on the launch synthetic colour way. The stud layout on the laser Iv is the same as the elites too, thats what i was on about, only difference is these studs are a little more angled. the studs across the middle of the foot. on another note, anyone use the nike park socks? brought some new socks yesterday in a size 8-11 and my god they are really tight socks..
I have them, only used them in one training session so I will give my early thoughts. Very comfortable. Synthetic is very soft and flexible, almost too soft in my opinion...kinda reminds me of the Puma v.11 SL's synthetic. Roomy feeling inside. Fits snug in length and width but foot still feels loose inside...weird. Feels like i could have gone down half size but then it would be too tight. Sole plate is flexible and comfortable. Studs penetrate the ground easy. Performed well. Striking the ball felt good, passing was good as well. the ball did get stuck on the swerve fins a couple times but I think I have to adjust to them being there and what they do. Still very early to pass judgement...I think I just need to use them more to get used to the fit and feel, which in my opinion is the only issue I have with them.
Just to point out, theres no suede heel liner for the III, and same with the IV. I have the kanga-lite black yellow version of the IV, the feel is VERY similar to the maestris, sole plate is very flexible, internal heel counter is a good change. upper is soft, but padded, feels great on your foot. The insoles are very nice, really thick. I think Nike has definitely improve from the III.
there is, got my summit k-iii in front of me, and the heel is suede.. though i did have the first k-'s in sg and the heel didn't have any suede at all
All the IIIs I've seen including the pair I have (Neptune blue in FG) had no suede heel at all. Maybe they changed it mid-release.
thats interesting, where are yours made?mine were china made and have it, also saw in a few shops with the white/blue featuring the suede too
i don't know,I've seen a lot of leathers with the suede and i had a pair without.. and seen the same pair as the pair i had with...strange stuff
The Laser IVs are wonderful. Love those boots. Seen the Kangalite ones today too and the normal synthetic ones are better in my book.
