I think id like these a lot more if that random line on the toes wasn't there.. get rid of that, and i think they would have looked nicer, now they look like theres too much going on,
I have just noticed a nice little design feature on the 11Pro's the Actual badge that says 11Pro is different on the left and right boot, Left Boot Right Boot
I don't mind the toe design, about the badge thing, they are different pairs of boots, one is FG and other is SG. The SG one is prob early production pair, it's got the font of the old adipure range, the FG one looks like the '11pro' we've seen in catalogs.
Chiva it's because of all this lightweight bulls**t. i still fail to see a few less ounces on your foot is going to make you any faster. adidas will be knocked of their perch
It's obvious, sustainability and price issues, the demand outweighs the supply. Soon we will see no K leather boot on the market at all apart from maybe the Copa Mundial/World Cup. There isn't a lot of difference between Taurus and K leather, Taurus is cheaper because there is more of it. Don't see the big fuss in changing the leather, there will be hardly any difference, basically people clutching at straws not to like or buy the boot. In regards to the different logo on the boot, one of them is probably an earlier sample and the other is a newer version with the new 11 pro logo.
I would totally understand if it's just the cost issue. But how come the demand outweighs the supply? I've read numerous articles saying kangaroo over-population is a big problem over there in Australia. Damaging the ecosystem and a host of other problems as well so that the government push some policies to control, in other words, to kill excessive kangaroos. Is it because there are not enough companies that produce/process the leather?
Well if you think how many boots are made from it its more understandable. Plus obtaining K leather has come under a lot of criticism as they are apparently "cruelly" shot. In todays environment big companies want to have good PR and don't want to be seen to be involved in so called animal cruelty.
I posted this in the last adidas thread, but it got locked and i doubt anyone saw my question. Hey Guys. Does anyone know a site I can buy a pair of Adidas Predator X DB (Red colour scheme). Ive looked around and cant seem to find them anywhere. This is the Boot im looking for. http://therightwinger.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/adidas-predator-x-db.jpg Thanks Guys.
I doubt the Kangaroo are being killed in a cruel way, I live in Australia and the kangaroo is in their coat of arms, they're very proud of it. Plus Australia is probably one of the safest places with least corruption etc. The people are very level headed and mostly kind, they would take any measure to make sure the hunting is as humane as possible. Like hwangong said, there's many many kangaroos around, supply isn't a problem, I'd say it would all come down to costs.
Any 1 seen these before? Rare? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW...t=UK_Football_Rugby_Boots&hash=item4cfcda23eb
messi has got a unique gold pair of f50 adizero micoaches for his copa del ray game tonight! There are to celebrate his Ballon D'Or win.
According to soccerbible, the new 11pro SL's with have K leather, unlike the normal 11 pro. "The upper of the adidas 11Pro SL combines a super soft K-leather upper – an upgrade from the Taurus leather used on the standard issues – with adidas' revolutionary single layer Sprintskin synthetic. The two materials combine from front to back, with the Sprintskin providing the necessary lightweight in the heel area." They are £140, thought they would be £170+
Soccer Reviews (http://soccerreviews.com/news/adidas-adipure-11pro/) "This covers the majority of the boot, however, the main kicking area of the boot features k-leather. The k-leather areas are coated with a new DuraCoating to protect the upper."
I've never seen those before - but they are very nice!! I imagine they'd be pretty rare as a pair of accelorators are rare now and they are obviously a lower end model from that era. Well worth £150 i reckon. appleCORR
Casillas is now sponsored by Adidas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JzVdUtDFWSY
Well he'll be wearing adipowers from here on out. Adidas own Messi (best player in the world) and now own him (best keeper in the world). They'll be happy about that. Now I personally don't think hes the best goalie in the world but thats what adidas said in the video
