Hearing rumblings in Omaha that the Jays could be losing a few players via transfer. A birdie also told me a few players could be leaving Carolina :D. I will post on here once I can confirm these happenings.

They better have a minimum of a 3.25 GPA at Charlotte or it is not happening.

he probably won't be able to get any of them in..and thats a big move east coast to the west coast...going to a school of Stanford's tuition. the in staters for a charlotte team would be paying virtually nothing if on scholarship, and if they moved it would be a TON more. and I'm sure the cost of living off campus is quite a lot more. all around i doubt you will see any of them leave.

I certainly hope not. The players all seem to be pushing for current AHC Kevin Langan. If he gets the job, I don't think we have to worry about the guys going west.

If not... well... that tuition hike will probably help keep most of the guys around.

Pretty big transfer listed on ESPN Rise, as UNC gets former U17 national team fwd Andy Craven from the College of Charleston, where he scored six goals in eight games last year. Not sure why he didn't play more, but I suppose that's probably related to the transfer.

Also looks like Luke Norman (formerly of Wake Forest) will play for Michigan State next year.

That will make it a bit easier for family to see him play with Norman being a Michigan kid

His stats appear to show he's a young but big contributor to Providence. His x-fer will be a real setback, no?

Interesting how many of the players picked in today's MLS SuperDraft were transfers from one four-year school to another.

    6. San Jose - Sam Garza (Denver to UC Santa Barbara)
    7. DC – Nick DeLeon (UNLV to Louisville)
    11. Dallas – Matt Hedges (Butler to North Carolina)
    21. Vancouver – Chris Estridge (Wake Forest to Indiana)
    25. San Jose – Jacob Husted (Cal Poly to Washington)
    33. San Jose – Chris Blaise (Michigan to South Florida)
    37. Houston – Warren Creavalle (Furman to Central Florida)

Just goes to show that while some players leave because they just aren't good enough to play at their first school, a lot of good talent leaves one school for another for a variety of reasons, be it playing time, exposure, academics, proximity to home, coaching staff, caliber of teammates, etc...

And, some players who were stuck in a log-jam at one school transfer for playing time and then blossom and are able to get picked by an MLS team.

Alot of it seems to be "being in the right place at the right time".

Shouldn't Speas as an HG be included on this list? Maybe an asterisk?

Its Matt Pacifici, might as well get the name correct. He struggled to get healthy while at Wake leading to the lack of appearances.

In the same vein (Wake Keepers) Doug Ryan who graduated this year from Wake has a year of eligibility left and there is word that he will use it at Furman.

Two Florida kids have transferred in to Stony Brook: Ryan Price from Floriday Gulf Coast and Shane Wixted from USF. Both have two years of eligibility left.

According to tweets from both players, Dominic Bonilla and David Mayer are both coming to Charlotte from Akron.

Bonilla is already enrolled here at Charlotte, Mayer will be coming down in the fall.

    Caleb's revolving door continues.

Bonilla didn't play last year but he was highly regarded coming out of HS and should be able to be an impact player in the A10.

With them both being Brits, I wonder if there's a connection between Mayer and Charlotte's new coach.

I wonder if Akron will end up with some APR issues down the road.
