on the Dustin Corea debate i like to get the full fact before i will make an opinion, though i do believe you shouldn't be saying maybe when representing a national team ...you want every player out there to be playing their heart and soul for the national team (they are representing a whole nation filled with people home and abroad that would be honoured to recieve that opportunity), However in saying that also why burn bridges when their no need ...their must been a easier and more logical way to convey the message..serious damaging relation to a promising young striker (which right know their aren't a whole lot off...if people complain say their are plenty, list ten that you would confident to score goals and be another form of attack in case zelaya is neutralised..i can think four at best)
further proof is the complaint of domestic league coaches forced to bring foreign strikers because theirs not many up to standard strikers in El Salvador.
Furthermore the federation has been horrible when it comes to managing Dustin Corea does every remember the under 20 fiasco, a whole campaign ruined because a simple paperwork not properly sent, i mean if you were a player or a regular worker and you saw the company was in shambles be honest would you think twice of joining it?

In more positive news Juan Jose Gomez has been shown interest by a club in Molodova, FC Costuleni....this is mainly due to the fitness trainer former national team fitness trainer Dudley Hitchman.
Ok so the club is last and molodova not one of the strongest leagues but hey this is an opportunity for him...i mean injury has ruined his chances to play abroad before denmark and norway to be exact

Swagger does not have to be arrogance. Lets not manipulate the language. I mean confidence. Unrattled by the situation. Unafraid of the big moment. Not to say that our players are terrified of big scenerio games, but when you get outplayed and embarrassed its mostly because the attitude just isn't there. Hey I dont want arrogant people representing my country either, but when people want to send up these humble players who are not psychologically prepared for big moments, then they are bound to flounder. I do agree that soccer has been somewhat improviing. But if the FED does not start to do things differently, we the fans will never see any results. We need a change in our soccer. It is asinine to think that what these guys have been doing against unprofessional armature (to say the most) soccer players is worth of any praise. To be frank, I feel that El Salvadorean has lacked and will continue to lack until more players of Salvadorean descet start to get exposure. Lets face it, No one in EL salvador is producing players of quality. With the exeption of maybe Fito, and some young guys like alas, flores, and maybe blanco and sanchez, most of these kids problably have no future outside of the country. Do not let me remind you of past failures of Castillo, Pacheco, Martinez, and Romero. I would not be surprised if people laugh at out players when they go abroad and are physically, and physiologically outmatched. Sorry for ranting but the premise is that if someone is going to make your team better, you learn to live with the flaws. If the feds keep doing the same stuff, then we will continue to get the same results. They need to think outside the box and learn how they are going to bring talent to play for this country so that real clubs will invest in our players and make the El Salvador soccer team, a respectable team. Major Props to Hugo and Pepsinono for there hard work and dedication for El Salvadorean soccer. And to everyone out there so works hard to make our soccer better. Lets not Give Up. Arriva con la Selecta. Bring up DUSTIN!!!!

I don't blame Dustin for reacting the way he has, our fed is incompetent to say the least. He is a talented and promising player but he's not ready for the NT.

Our players that are trialing abroad may be at a disadvantage like Joseph said but they also have some advantages. For example Fito, a street baller with good dribbling skills and a quickster. Fitos positive qualities made up for what he was lacking and needs to perfect, which is why his club kept him even after his serious injury.

Instead of focusing on the negative about our futbol I think we should focus on our players trialing abroad. We have some young promising players at home and also in the U.S.

Our NT players aren;t so humble on the field. So i dont agree with humility being a problem for our players. Our NT guys can be aggressive when need be. Our players are not scared!

I don't think anyone disagrees that the fed needs to do a better job and that its somewhat understandably that Dustin would be upset. However I don't agree that Salvadorian decent players will be our saviors. The only real way to have a strong national team is by developing a strong domestic league and a strong soccer infrastructure that consistently develops young players. No nation has ever developed a strong team national team just buy bringing in players developed in other countries though several have tried.

Hugo and others have done a great job of identifying potential players but of the players Hugo tracks maybe 5 are good enough to make the national team now the rest aren't necessarily better then the potential guys being developed in El Salvador. I am not sure how you can say no one El Salvador is producing quality players when FESA has several guys worth following that have some experience training abroad and could have a shot of making careers abroad someday. Then there are young guys like Baires, Larin, Sosa who maybe don't play abroad but could still help the national team. Romero and Pacheco may not have had success abroad but its not as if they weren't better players then Miranda who came up in the USA. Just because guys come up in El Salvador doesn't mean they aren't better then guys that came up elsewhere I would rather have Cheyo as our creative midfielder then Mayen.

Looks like Juan Jose Gomez has come to an agreement with FC Costuleni, and Aguila have given their blessing to fly out and join them..he need to deal with some personal issues but will be flying out to Moldova at the end of the week
I wish nothing but the best although his form has gone down in the past year prior to it..he was one our more consitent keeper and was unlucky not to being playing in europe earlier.
As for Aguila these could be the the opportunity Benji Villalobos has waited for the finally make the number one jersey his own

Once again our backward, netherdral run club directors have destroyed another golden opportunity for a player to be playing aborad...this is why El Salvador league is in such poor shape in general (not talking about metapan who are the exeception to this rule)...their short sightedness is the reason why i wanna have a full restructure of the league system in similar fashion to what the germans did after the failure of 1998 world cup and 2000 euro mishap

I'm with you all the way; I've wanted a new start for the Salvadoran league for quite some time, atm its quality is just terrible. smh

Well hopefully some good news will come; i'd like to see Turcios signing to Werder Bremen, that'd be brilliant.

i hope the directors at Aguila are proud of themselves. I should send them an email giving them a piece of my mind, and if we're lucky, they can reconsider not letting Gomez go to Moldova. Clearly they don't know what's best for everyone. It's also an advantage for Villalobos as he can get more game time.

Aguila has to be among the worst teams for the progression of our players. They buy young guys then don't really develop them and let them go after a bad season or two. Now they don't let JJ Gomez give it a shot in a new league and its not as if they have been winning lots of titles lately. What is it going to take for these teams to learn from their mistakes they have Metapan giving them examples on how to build a team for prolonged success yet they don't learn anything.
