Alexander Corro y Gustavo Ponce podrían partir a préstamo a Naval(2da división).

O'Higgins, Huachipato y U. San Felipe? Quien va entrar en Primera Division? Alguien interesante?

Chile won 2:0 to Paraguay in november (WCQ) without Jara, Carmona, Vidal, Valdivia nor Beausejour. Nobody miss them really. I think Valdivia is a fantastic midfielder (our best "10"), but he's gone too far, appealing against the punishment. It's obvious that Borghi won't call him anymore. Vidal is another important player, maybe Borghi will call him up in the future.

Pinto is an excellent forward, but his only problem is "mental". He suffers depression. He has 1 good season, after that 1 bad season, then 1 good season, etc. In 2010 he only played 3 games in the Italian Serie B (club Varese). In 2011 he scored a lot of goals. So he needs mental stability.

At least in the 1rst half of the year, Chile won't play Croatia. But maybe after the Eurocup.

Yes, the Apertura Championship will start on january 27th (but COBRELOA and Univ.de Chile will play their 1rst matches on february 5th).

The Chilean clubs in Libertadores Cup 2012 going to be Univ.de Chile, Univ.Católica and Unión Española.

But for the Sudamericana Cup 2012, there going to play 5 Chilean clubs: Univ.de Chile, Univ.Católica, hopefully Cobreloa (today we're going to know that), and 1rst and 2nd clubs in the Apertura 2012 standings.

A 2da división bajaron Santiago Morning y Ñublense.

If coach invites them, he will undermine his authority. Its difficult to say what is good. Croatian-Australian Joe Simunic also suffered from depression. He said, that he wont play anymore after EURO 2012. He wants to start living again. Footballers have hard lives, very far from their families, he was born in Canberra and he came in Germany when he had maybe 20, 22.

Many footballers today have some mental problems.

It would be good to see Chile Croatia friendly match, we usually play against European teams. No danger.:D We played friendly matches against Argentin and Brazil, probably against Mexico in early 90s.

We won against Argentina 3-2 in Geneva and against Brazil it was 1-1 in Split, Croatia.

Does Chile have Super Cup. Winner of Copa Chile and Clausura, or Apertura?

To bad that Cobreloa wont play in C. Libertadores, great competition there. But Copa Sudamericana is also great, level of Europa League.

Deportes Antofagasta has polar bear on their coat of arms.:D

"D. Antofagasta experienced one of their most successful spans from 1991 through 1995, with the croatian coach Andrija Perčić at the bench and players such as Marco Cornez and Gabriel Caballero."

Antofagasta had Andres Oroz, Kevin Harbottle.:)

We've played some European NT's in the last years (Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, Estonia, Israel). It would be interesting to play friendlies with Croatia, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, England, etc.

We don't have Supercopa. It would be interesting too.

Well, is not a polar bear really, it's a puma (cougar, panther). But we call them "kitties" instead.:D

Percic worked as coach of Antofagasta and Huachipato. He didn't like press, and the press didn't like him. He spoke an italian-spanish mixed language.

This year Antofagasta will have many ex-Cobreloa players: Fernando Hurtado, Luis Godoy, Juan Luis González, Erick Pino, Patricio Rubina, Fernando Martel. And the coach (Gustavo Huerta) was our coach in 2007. Also, the young and fast forward Ronald González is Cobreloa fan. His dream is to play in Cobreloa.

Argentine goalkeeper Luciano Palos will stay 3 more years.:)

Felipe Rojas will continue 2 more years in the club.

Another argentine, Alexander Corro (defensive midfielder), will stay 1 more year in Cobreloa.

Continuing negociations with Nicolás Peric and argentine Néstor Nicolás Trecco.

Gustavo Geraldo, U19 midfielder, will sign contract as professional.

Palestino's top scorer, Nicolás Canales, would be our new forward (considering that Javier Elizondo is injured until june). Canales scored 9 goals during Clausura championship.

South American teams mostly want to play in Switzerland, there are not many fans that support both countries, even though many Chileans and Croats live in Switzerland. These neutral countries take the money.:D

Croatia played against all Chilean opponents in Europe. These friendly matches or competition matches are much interesting, than against Estonia, Israel, Slovakia.

Croatia will have good opponents in Italy and Spain on upcoming EURO, also Ireland can be hard to win.:D

Supercopa would be interesting as introduction in upcoming season.

Yes, it looks more like puma, but white colour tricked me.:D I never heard about Percic. He works now in Academy of Croatian Football Federation. Terrible.:D

    http://www.hns-cff.hr/upl/products/Predavaci_na_NA_HNS-a.pdf

He teaches: Technique and tactits of football. Again terrible.:D Here are some other professors.

Hazim Mulic es musulmante de Bosnia.

    Rich statistics about Percic, observe::D
    http://www.football-lineups.com/coach/85/edit_history/

This article says that Percic is football expert, especially with youth categories.

    http://www.jutarnji.hr/omladinska-skola-nebrige/183519/

He suffered some act of conspiracy, he was in Rijeka club, Kantrida stadium, he knew to much, best expert, etc. There was a lot of improvisation before him, he saw this, and they pressured him so that he resigns faster.

When I talk Italian I mix him with Spanish in some moments. I talk Spanish better than Italian, I don't know why. I had similar number of visits in both countries, but Spanish was implemented better. Portuguese language I mix very much with Spanish: Portanol.:D More difficult to write, but I can read Portuguese (sh, zh).:D

Antofagasta looks like como pequeno hermano de Cobreloa? Algo como Cobresal?

As you can see, we don't have southern clubs in the 1rst division.
The good thing is that this year we'll have 5 northern clubs in the 1rst division (Iquique, COBRELOA, Antofagasta, Cobresal and La Serena).:)

This is especially positive for the Cobreloa fans of Antofagasta. Now they will see our club in his own city, at least once (the trip Antofagasta-Calama takes nearly 3 hours through the Desert).

    Pequeño sí. Hermano no.:D

In Croatia, clubs from north also have larger advantage. RNK Split is under investigation, ex-sports director of RNK Split Nenad Pralija was arrested with two secretaries because of setting up matches, RNK Split came very fast from fourth to the first league, and they have played in Europa League qualifiers. They played very good against Fulham, but they lost anyway in with one tie. People consider that they fixed matches in national league.:D

Great edition of Chile in France 1998 with Acosta and Huerta.

Who is the opponent of Cobreloa in Copa Sudamericana? This will be group phase or knock out phase?

Don't know yet. In june we'll know it.
    Sudamericana Cup has K.O. system.

    Qualified clubs (so far):

    Oriente Petrolero(BOL), Universitario de Sucre(BOL), San José(BOL), São Paulo(BRA), Figueirense(BRA), Coritiba(BRA), Botafogo(BRA), Palmeiras(BRA), Grêmio(BRA), Atlético Goianiense(BRA), Bahía(BRA), Universidad de Chile(CHI, Sudamericana Champion 2011), Universidad Católica(CHI), COBRELOA(CHI), Millonarios(COL), Envigado(COL), Deportes Tolima(COL), La Equidad(COL), Deportivo Quito(ECU), Olimpia(PAR), Cerro Porteño(PAR), Tacuary(PAR), Guaraní(PAR), Universidad San Martín(PER), León de Huánuco(PER), Unión Comercio(PER), Inti Gas Deportes(PER) and Mineros de Guayana(VEN).
Also there will be 6 argentine clubs, 4 uruguayans, 3 more ecuadorians, 3 more venezuelans, 2 more Chileans(1rst and 2nd in the Apertura 2012) and 1 more bolivian.

    These Brazilian clubs sound difficult.:D

Why can't U. de Chile play in Copa Libertadores, they are 1st in Chile.
So if Cobreloa could achieve the 1st place, they also could not participate in Copa Libertadores.

Who is Chilean representative(s) in Copa Libertadores? From Argentina probably Boca Juniors in C. Libertadores?

Copa Sudamericana would be difficult, a lot of travelling, high altitudes, weather conditions and atmosphere on guest stadiums.:D For Cobreloa it would be good to start against someone from Venezuela, Paraguay or Colombia.

Atlético Goianiense and Figueirense sound easier than other Brazilian clubs. Others sound more popular and well known in the world.

Millonarios is well known club. Medellin, Cartagena, Cali, also America.

Deportivo Quito is LDU Quito? They are also popular.

From Paraguay I know Olimpia, Cerro. I remember that Olimpia has played in the finals against winner of European Champions League in Japan. Maybe Barcelona, or Manchester. Also 3. Febrero and Guarani, because they all speak Guarani language in national team. Libertad also.

From Peru Allianza Lima is most popular, these Peruvian representatives I don't know very good. Juan Aurich will probably play in Copa Libertadores than?

From Uruguay I know Penarol, Nacional, Danubio, Tacuarembo, River Plate, Bella Vista, Montevideo Wanderers, Rampla, Defensor, Liverpool, probably Everton.:D

From Venezuela I don't know any club. As national team they are the only one who never participated on World Cup. Maybe in Brazil.

From Bolivia I know about The Strongest (easy to remember), Blooming and Bolivar.

Univ.de Chile going to play Libertadores Cup too, since february;)

    https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1855367&page=8

Univ.de Chile, Univ.Católica and Unión Española gonna play Libertadores.

I think starting against western bolivians clubs (San José or Universitario) would be fine, because the air travel is short, and because we don't have problems with the altitude. I remember that we won in Oruro against San José in the Libertadores Cup 1993.

América de Cali is in 2nd division right now. Another historic club in 2nd division (like River Plate:D )
Olimpia played against Malmö(1979), Milan(1990) and Real Madrid(2000) in the ex-Intercontinental Cup in Japan.
Dep.Quito is archirival of LDU Quito.

Only England and Chile have Evertons in their leagues (at least in professional level). But chilean Everton plays in the 2nd division.:D

A little bit complicated to understand every aspect of criteria. In Europe we know instantly who is going in UEFA competitions.

Twelwe years since the match Olimpia and Real in Japan. The time passed so fast.

It would be better that South America has some areal divisions, so that the clubs don't need to fly so far. Distances like 7000 km maybe are very long. But in first class they can handle this.:D

Well yeah. Each southamerican federation use different criteria to decide which clubs gonna play Sudamericana. Brazil and Argentina, for example, don't send their best clubs to this cup.

My bad: Olimpia played Real Madrid in 2002 (not in 2000).

Nice celebration in a good Clausura part of season. Feliz cumpleano para todos que soporta Cobreloa.:)

This with S. American Cups is weird criteria. It reminds me on national cups in Europe. Many clubs lose without battle in cups, just so that they can dedicate to their national leagues.

Clubs would receive some punishments in Europe if they would not want to participate in UEFA competitions. But they can send B or C teams.:D Some clubs don't want to play in Europa League, like Tottenham in this season, Juventus in last season, etc.

It's easy to confuse Olimpia, because Real Madrid has won in 2000 also and in 2002 and in 1998 I think. 1999 was year of Man. Utd against Bayern.

    I hope so.
    I think we need a 2nd goalkeeper, 1 sweeper, 1 right-back, 1 attacking midfielder, and 1 centre forward.

The team looks like this, so far:

    Palos(ARG);
    Gómez, F.Rojas, Roco, Oroz;
    Corro(ARG), Vera(PAR), Cortés,
    Lusardi(PAR);
    Martínez, Barrios(PAR).

During july we'll have more time to buy 6 new players, thinking in doing a good performance in the Sudamericana Cup.

Peric, Trecco left. I remember that you had good words about Palos. Maybe he would be more calmer than Peric in the future, more concentrated.

Muslim moderators of Bosnia and Herzegovina are pretty active in molesting posts and themes on Croatian sub-forum. What a democracy. They use similar methods like in medieval times. On Bosnian forum are hundreds of non-football themes and nobody can do anything against them. How could they talk about football, when they don't have any participation on same larger level.:D

Peric signed in Rangers (he's from Talca and Rangers'fan). But Trecco is still negotiating with Cobreloa.

An ex-Cobreloa top scorer, Cristián Canío (Clausura 2007) is currently in negotiations with our club. He played in ColoColo and Audax Italiaano in the last 2 years.

News about the stadium: it would be for 12,000 people.
    Total cost: $10.000.000.000
