It's just beautiful. Better than grass definitely. It's slightly longer than 3G astro, with the rubber balls in them. And it's a lot softer on your feet.
Does 4g still have rubber balls in it? I'm interested to know as I play at the Derek Dooley centre just off of Broomhill (you may know it?) and after doing a Google search on 4g it definitely looks similar. Comparing it to the surface at Goals its definitely better in regards to it being more forgiving on the knees and feels more like real grass etc. However sometimes get the feeling that the turf is too long as in your feet sort of get caught up in it
4g just sounds like fresh 3g... even it being longer eventually it will get flattened down like most 3g pitch's do
Agreed, a new 5-a-side centre has opened by me, and the pitches are 3G but really really nice, the 'grass' is soft and long. But as David said, give it a year or so and it will be completely flat. I've never had ANY problems with any of my boots on 3G turf in FGs to be honest. appleCORR
Broomhill in Sheffield? You mean down at Goodwin Sports Centre? I think by the Derek Dooley centre you mean the area just next to Gym+.. The little pitches. The 4G is down at Goodwin, just down the road. I practice on there all the time now. It may not be 4G, I may ask some of the staff sometime, but it really is like professional level. It looks glorious under floodlights and is just a joy to run on. The pitches next to Gym+ are definitely 3G, but a good 3G.
I'm not so sure, the older 3G definitely did. But the 'main' football pitch in Sheffield is just absolutely awesome. I could sleep on it.
Stephen Hunt rocking some blackouts in training for Wolves, he's always wore Puma Kings as long as i can remember so are these likely to be some blacked out King SL's or just the black/black/gold Kings? For some reason all the players at Wolves have the foldover tongues removed from their boots so it makes it hard to tell whether its the SL or just another pair of regular Kings with the tongue cut off.
Not sure if the link below will work, but Spurs Ekotto was wearing a pred on his left foot and an Adizero on his right foot. I know he sometimes wore different coloured preds but mixing those 2 boots is bit mad! http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail...tches-tottenham-hotspurs-news-photo/136291219 appleCORR
I don't usually bother with boot weights as I don't think it can actually make 'that' much difference, but you must feel a little bit odd when running etc. appleCORR
He has been wearing them since the new model was released. So it's be a couple of months now. appleCORR

Some nice pics of Bayern testing out the adiPure 11pro's on Footy-Boots: Also, the Under Armours are an unreleased boot, some of the Welsh Rugby Union team have been wearing them over the past month or so - interesting to see them hit the football pitch!
Some better close up photo's of new adidas adiPURE 11Pro on SoccerBible. Check them out here: new adidas adiPURE 11Pro football boots
if you look closely, you'll see that he is wearing nike socks in the frist picture, that is quite strange imo. and he has pulled down his training socks, so that you cant see the adidas logo...
lol I think you are looking to much into it. Robben has always worn Nike socks underneath his club socks.
