Noonan went to the same high school and college as Chris Klein. Not sure if that means anything, but I found it interesting.

Looks like they'll be seeing each other more often once Pat signs with us.

Aren't Frankie and Jovan still unknown? Please tell me we haven't signed them yet.

They aren't "in" or "out" and we haven't acquired their rights (since we already had them), so they don't belong on this list yet. Their contracts don't expire for another few weeks, so we'll find out by then what the deal is.

This was my thinking, i'm glad to add them to the unknown list, but I figure we should know more in the next week or so.

Perhaps an "out of contract" column would work, to which we could add Beckham, Franklin and the like. Even the players we picked up in the Re-Entry draft are technically in the same situation, so they could go under there as well.

I don't care what list you put them on as long as they end up on the "out" list come January. (Really fond of Frankie as a person and what he did for USMNT eons ago. But in 2012 we don't need to be tying up roster $ with a 37 y.o. who's idea of good defense is to lunge feet-first at everything that moves. And sorry, nothing positive to say about Kirovski.)

If you think about it, Jovan is probably the best player on the team taking the ball to the corner in the dying part of the match and then shielding it from opposing players. :D I am pretty sure Bruce keeps him in the 18 just in case he needs those few minutes from him.

He's also got kind of a cool name. It makes me thing of a star-fighter pilot in a sci-fi movie.

Ok, I have to admit Jovan is a cool name. Too bad it had to be wasted on Jovan!

In his last game with Alajuelense Marcelo Sarvas scored a goal (left footed) in the Invierno championship (away) game.

Alajuelense won the tournament on penalties. Marcelo Sarvas helped Alajuelense to a decent showing in the 2011 CCL group stage this year, plus he won the two Costa Rican Primera División titles in 2011 (Verano & Invierno).

In my mind, this is a good sign that we've just signed a winner and someone who's accustomed to chasing Cups and Trophies. While Playing big minutes and making plays/ scoring goals in those games. Plus he's wore the #10 jersey for Alajuelense.

Yay!!!!!!! Sean resigned! I'm even happy we took Bryan Jordan (for depth).

But Cristman. Really? I get to see him again next year? Hope not. Go Chad Barrett!

I dont see What Bruce sees in Cristman i dont count him as Depth he is more of a Just there to fill a spot player , Chad Barrett in the other hand is allergic to Scoring Goals just like JPA but he Hustles like no one other Striker in the Game finds ways to produce a goal for us and definitly is a Depth player , So please Bruce Keep Chad and Dump that Garbage player Cristman that was an Embarrassment in the 2011 Final. thats all i ask .

Dude was up all night at the hospital with a new born baby. What else did you expect in the Final? 2 goals and 1 assist on the Pacific Asian tour. Scored in all competitions this year. And the guy draws plenty of whistles which is beneficial when you have Becks taking free kicks.

    Hi Adam. How's the newborn?

[in all seriousness, even with him being dog tired, those misses were awful - and his passing game is cringe worthy. Never forget a divot dispossessing him on that awful SKC pitch.)

And not to turn this into a huge discussion because the thread isn't really supposed to have discussion...but it seems as though Adam gets fouled a lot...and sometimes he goes down too easy. Obviously it's good when we get a free kick out of it, especially with Beckham, but it kind of gets on my nerves when he goes down so easily even though he's a big guy.
