Impossible to know exactly what was said. Fact is that Buyten is a more experienced player in the squad, and for him to be having on field spats does not say much for his influence on the squad. I have respected him at Bayern because he has generally been very professional and dedicated to the squad, accepting bench roles etc. However barring maybe his first season, he has never been a quality enough defender for our squad. This lack of quality combined with an unstable, growing defense creates friction. Either Buyten is projecting his lack of ability on to team mates or others are creating conflict with him based on mistakes. In any case he doesn't contribute in any way to defensive stability, his strengths are passing and scoring. Can't justify Jupp's decision to continue playing him, if his experience isn't helping the development of the defense, indeed it seems to have been a regression.
F*ck that, DvB has been here for over 5 years and for better or for worse he deserves some respect. And ffs, if Badstuber was crying I would no longer have the little respect I did have for such a shite defender. DvB is the classic scapegoat of Bayern fans for every error of the defensive unit, but when Badstuber is actually the one to make an error( which is nearly every game) there's nothing but crickets and the browbeating of his critics.
1-Daniel is playing a good season 2-The journalists of Kicker are going mad I bet on the 1st I mentioned........
DvB has peaked....Bads is a good prospect at the moment. FO knows it, and I think that if it comes down to it, Bads stays and DvB goes.
How many times has Robben done that on a matchday on the field. Buyten has done twice in a month now iirc?
DvB has done it zero times, your defition of "fighting on the pitch" is just a bit weird. Such things happen all the time.
When did Van Buyten physically even touch Badstuber? Hell, please tell me so I can watch such a potential beatdown.
Exactly. Photographers don't capture it all the time and because its Bayern it's always news. Silly all this.
