Harry Kewell testing the new adiPure 11pro on SoccerBible! Here's a couple of pics, theres a few more online too, looks like it's got a miCoach speedcell! Not sure why Kewell's testing them but they look awesome! Here's the link: Kewell Tests adidas adipure 11pro football boots
Interesting to see that Ashley Young who previously wore synthetic adizeros (primes) he is now wearing the leather version in the 3s. appleCORR
vermaelen switched to ctrs, arteta continues to switch between 3 different pumas and v.persie is in an old pair of preds!!
Weird celebration, normaly you write something on ur baselayer or so, Bale does it on the boot Respect !
You'd get booked for that in the prem though, technically I don't think you can get booked for removing a boot lol Nice tribute to a great player/manager/person.
It's a freakin stupid rule...I can understand it if the shirt's not back on before the other team kicks off again, but just for removing your shirt if you really have something meaningful written on the baselayer or something, it's doesn't really deserve a yellow card!
some one posted this in another thread I think... here are his regular SLs Also, an NFL kicker had black-out SF2/3. I literally cannot find a picture of them though
I do believe its to do with sponsorship, obviously the cameras etc are on the goal scorer, if your taking your top off everyone is goin to be looking at the top underneath rather then the sponsor, which most put alot of Money into clubs
Its nothing to do with money or sponsorship or cameras If a player removes his shirt or covers his head with his shirt it is a cautionable offence. Thats the rule!
Hulk in the new Mizuno Morelia Neo against Zenit last night: Also, I always thought the shirt-removal thing was for offending people in the crowd (not that any women I know would complain about seeing most players topless...) and also that it's unsportsmanlike conduct and excessive celebration.
The reason is the celebration must not be excessive. Regardless of any messages or sponsors on under garments, if the player removes his shirt it is cautionable. Thats my point.
players just used to take it off and run around waving it. It just takes too long. i remember on soccer am once that a player in a low league (league 1?) took his top off in the 89th min when he scored and threw it into the crowd... he then had to ask for it back and the crowd threw him a generic shirt so he played in a generic team top and a fan kept the players top
I'm pretty sure it's about the sponsorship, same with players getting fined for not wearing there boots who they are sponsored by(robino got some Fines for not wearing nike) Companies want everyone to see there logo it's that simple,
i read some place he might have been testing their new speed boot that is coming out....but i don't see arteta testing a speed boot...hes not exactly that quick
