Since when does Goal.com get exclusives:confused:

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/ital...olillo-we-are-targeting-a-young-midfielder-a-

“Yes, we need it. But he must be a young defender looking to the future. We are not prepared to spend a lot because of the rules of the Financial Fair Play. We (are) prepared to find talent and to lower the middle (average) age of our defense," the 65-year-old exclusively told Goal.com.

Paolillo said the club wants a young defender and another midfielder
the main priority should be a defender no need to think twice
Branca has mentioned we are interested in the young Brazilian Juan so we'll see if that will be the signing

as for the midfielder, since we are looking to buy young and cheap we probably will look within serie A, perhaps bring in Kucka?

Post any other rumors, your wishlist(yeah right), etc.

Ranieri's contract will be bought out and Luis Figo will be brought in.

Next season you will battle Samp, Lecce and Chievo in search of your first ever Serie B title. ;)

a little pregame jab i see;)

Figo has relatively no experience, if Ranieri(who I don't really blame) leaves then maybe Mihajlovic? haven't been looking at the manager market

I don't think that Figo or Sinisa have done anything to show that they are worthy to manage a big club like Inter.

the club needs stability bad, Mou basically closed the "era" and instability followed
it would be pretty disappointing if Ranieri leaves or gets the boot
the club has good relations with former players so naturally they get linked back to the club in fact Sinisa was linked to us after Leo left, so was Baggio and even Ze maria came for a coaching course

Eduardo Vargas has been linked to us. I quite like him, personally  and usually I am very apprehensive over Chilean players making moves to big teams so soon,

    Interesting, another young south american
the club is looking for younger gems instead of higher priced tag players
of coarse we already got Coutinho, Alvarez(?), Castaignos, Poli, Zarate
then again if both Milito and Zarate leave for any reason then there will be space available

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

Re: the Rannocchia/Juve rumours, I really hope we're not about to lose the only fast defender we have. Plus, isn't the team (management et al) thinking about making the squad younger in general? Apart from Rano, the defense has not been touched that much .

yep, only Ranocchia, Caldirola, and Faraoni are under 25 for our Defense
the last two aren't ready(but will get there) to be given consistent starts

the transfer window opens on the 1st(two weeks) so will will hear more and more rumors, hopefully good ones

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

I would definitely keep Ranocchia and start grooming Caldirola into perhaps his future partner in the center of the d. Faraoni plays as a LB, no?

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

Faraoni has played various positions for the primavera squad, LB, CM, RB and both wings
he is one of the more involved players for the Unders, as well as Crisetig but he has had only time as a sub

there's also Biraghi(wonder goal kid last year) who is at serie B Juve stabia
he can play LB,LM and CM
Donati at Padova has been loaned out twice and can play RB, CB

oh you mean sucky, yes we have, joking joking:D

actually Inter use to be like RM, search and build a good primavera(mostly italian), loan them out, sell half their rights or full or use them as barter to get other players(I don't sugar coat it)

now that the club has to plan and watch the wallet, the club is looking at the primavera to replace and become future squad members

but inter won't lose it's internazionale flavor, within the primavera there are players representing various countries on top of the internationals that we have on loan

i was thinking you were going to make a little juve pun :( :p

In the long run it will be good for italian football to create youth setups that produce like Barca "cringe"

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

juve overrated some of their italian transfers in the past, but they're doing good so I can't cut their success

before I did see the NT struggle(2007+) and one of the causes people claim is not nurturing young players in Serie A for the NT
Raneiri seems to like to put in our young players(all of them having 1+ appearances) which will benefit a lot of parties eventually

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

thats the thing about spending on a budget, the moves have to be calculated and thought out
rumors there have been some about Juan Jesus(brazilian U21 WC) but he doesn't wanna leave Brazilian Inter, there has been talk about Lucas(another brazilian rising star) but he doesn't want to leave yet

Chivu to Ajax wouldn't be so bad, I thought Zarate was going to leave but so far no news on that, no one wants Muntari(big surprise), Krasic agent said no contact has been made

and I think some club wanted Viviano and Castaignos on loan

all rumors except the last two

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

I would love us to try to sign Luis Suarez. He's clearly not pleased with English football at the moment and would be a much needed addition of star quality to our front line.

Re: Spending on a Budget, the Winter Transfers & Rumors

I think its the other way around :D

we got star quality in the front, they just have had a very difficult slump, milito has had only 1 good game that being the last one
Forlan has been injured but has shown quality in his brief appearances, Pazzini wasn't struggling as bad as milito but its obvious he misses sneijder

Zarate and Milito are the only ones I would be open in seeing them leave, more zarate since he has only scored 1 goal(albeit an important one) and holds the ball way too long

Castaignos should have stayed one more year in Holland, but I have hope he will turn out good

I only saw Suarez in the WC, he did play well with Forlan but for some reason I mostly remember him playing Goalkeeper for that brief period of time
