You can rest assured that Ukraine, Sweden and France will fight tooth and nail to make sure his suspension is upheld. And with Platini at the helm that may be a forgone conclusion.

PS. Can't wait for English fans to occupy Donetsk. They always bring the most fans, and this will be a clusterfv@k of epic proportions.

Dreams can turn into nightmares rather quickly. Don't forget you'll be playing on their soil.

Great mix there, drunken Englishmen and people from Donetsk aged 17-30.

I'd love to see Russia beat Greece with style, to be honest. Can't stand their tactic.

They're trying to play more open.

Yeah and by the way, I don't fault them for employing their defensive style since they don't have a lot of technically skilled attackers.

However, their matches can be brutal to watch.

Hmm.....Polaks is actually the right way of writing that. Now I also bet you wrote that thinking it's an insult as well. Well, that insult is as awesome as calling and American......and American!!! Oh snap you told him now!!

We'll just see how great Team Gazprom is going to be come Euro 2012. As somebody else said, your team is playing all those games "away."

Didn't mean it as an insult at all, it's no more insulting than calling me a Russkiy.

I don't understand what you meant by the bolded sentence.

Yea both teams like to attack, Russia has a good chance for a win there. The Czechs don't scare me at all, although if we lose to them I'd look like a goof for what I said earlier. :D

It means every game you play will be an away game. Everyone in the stands not wearing Russian gear will be rooting for whomever is playing Russia.

From scenarios we go to reality.

As I see it, we got the toughest pot 3 team, but second easiest pot 2 team. Ukraine are, certainly, no favorites, but we could progress from that group.

Russia definitely lacked out. They have to be considered favorites in their group. One thing about that group, however, everyone there is beatable by everyone else.

I think that's an exaggeration. I don't think that the Poles really care that they're playing Russia or that Russia's coming to the local stadium. If we play the quality of football we're capable of they'll take to us.

Yup. But for me anyway Russia has the most quality out of the four groups, have to make the QF here. Considering how weak this team is compared to 2008 we should be feeling very fortunate here, a git from the football Gods.

Think about it guys, with these tournaments the favorites never unanimously advance out their group. I think we'll have one surprise at least...maybe Ukraine? The French are talented as all hell but lack competitive edge. England I think will give Ukraine problems if they play with speed and fluidity up front (Rooney, Young, etc.) Sweden is the key game, and wtf at England always playing Sweden.

England shouldn't have Rooney due to ban.

France smacked Ukraine around 4-1 not too long ago.

Rooney will probably get two games, considering that's what AA got although I duno if reputation factors in to the committee's decision making.

Sweden? WTF with England playing Ukraine in three consecutive cycles? 2010 WCQ, 2012 EC, 2014 WCQ!

Even if Rooney doesn't play, I have a hard time envisioning Ukraine scoring vs England. Dunno, I just think the English are solid defensively and will get out of that group.

My "upset" pick is Portugal ahead of Holland. I don't rate the Dutch defensively and think they are inconsistent at these big tournaments, so I like Portugal to go through with Ze Germans.
