    They're redoing Bilino Polje:

By the end of construction, its going to hold 40,000. Thats not bad at all. I'm just curious when its all going to be done.

    ********ing sick.

That's 2 stadiums being renovated with 25,000+ capacity... Tuzla and Zenica.

Anyone know about the plans for Grbavica that's apparently supposed to extend the capacity to 40,000?

Kosevo, Stadion Tuzla, Bilino Polje, Grbavica... that would be 4 decent stadiums.

Well keep in mind we've got Olimpic's new stadium which is also nice. Bihac is building a new stadium as well..

I heard some German company is investing in Grbavica soon. Would be epic.

Haven't heard anything of Nova Grbavica since june.

But still, it seems like we play best in a small, compact, open stadium!

Otoka is a nice little stadium too. Not suited for NT play though.

This. We might be with Serbia and Croatia in a joint bid. I wouldn't mind one bit.

No it wasn't there was a huge conversation about this and a debate. They had the investors ready to go and pay for the construction.

The Slovenes did a fine job with their stadium:

20.000 seater and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Stadiums don't just fall out of the sky. Sponsors have to be found to divy up the money for such a structure. Zeljeznicar has had contacts with various potential sponsors and companies, but none agreed on a deal YET. I have heard rumors of some Austrian companies that might be interested, so we'll see what the future holds.

This was what Grbavica might look like:

15.000 seater, 20 million euros to build. Not bad.

40,000 seats in Zenica would be f*cking sick. We'll finally have a stadium our NT prefers and at the same time meets all the FIFA standards. Now I don't have to feel embarressed by our stadium lol

And BTW, they fixed the pitch. I heard the ground is as flat as ever. They're finally going in the right direction. My only question is who funds all this.. does the club do it? And also does the national team playing in Bilino Polje have anything to do with this when it comes to funding?

Our FA is corrupt as f*ck. They rather keep that money in their pockets then spending it on a new pitch, so it's actually not so suprising.

    Insider news from me:

Energo, the firm from Slovenia who wanted to build the stadium collapsed this year and won't be making the stadium. Grbavica, that is.

If Macedonia can build a decent stadium why the ******** can't Bosnia? Most stadiums take around 2 years to finish...and you said it would be done in 2-3 years.. Last time I checked if they start next year in Zenica (in May 2012) it will be done in 2014 which is the time needed to build a strong stadium.

The Tusanj project will be done in a year tops. The Bihac stadium will also be completed in a year. Thats two fantastic stadiums (albeit small). Otoka is already completed, and its a very nice stadium.

With the Bilino Polje construction and perhaps the Grbavica reconstruction, we'll have a nice mix there. I heard Velez might be building something soon as well.

They are destroying the west and east stands and are rebuilding north and south. Plus people will have to use the stadium at the same time meaning construction will be delayed every so often.

They're not destroying BP and building from scratch. They're removing some of the old parts of the stadium, and replacing them, on top of adding even more seating and a better roof. Basically they're modernizing the stadium and adding more seats.

By the way, most of the "newer" stadiums in BiH are all from the early 1980s. That's terrible. Most countries even in Eastern Europe have stadiums built in the mid to late 90s or early 2000s. We're the only ones with stadiums so old.

    They better build something soon.
