Re: Concacaf WCQ 2014 I´m liking the groups. Its not like the last 2 WC Cycles where there is clearly 1 group that is harder than the rest and 1 group that seems too easy. This way there is a good chance the best 6 teams make it to the hex. And the group of death if there is one is group C.
Spots 3 and 4 in the Hex are wide open with in my opinion Panama will get one of them. Should be a good hex.

On another note, I'm disappointed U.S. soccer hasn't updated their website to reflect the group winners. http://www.ussoccer.com/Tournaments...FIFA-World-Cup-Qualifying/Round-3-Groups.aspx still says "Winner E" and Winner F" in the USA's Semifinal group.
Re: Concacaf WCQ 2014 Hey, Bermuda did move up 57 spots in the October rankings, to 132nd. I will say this, it's nice to see some new faces (Antigua & Barbuda and Guyana) getting this far. Again, I'd like to get to the point where we can have a proper 16 team Gold Cup. The first 10 have been pretty solid recently: Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Honduras, T&T, Jamaica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Canada. After that, it has gotten dicey. With 12 teams, 2 minnows (or a strong Guadeloupe or CONCACAF only association) still makes it interesting. My hope is that the next level of associations: Haiti, Cuba, Suriname, Guyana, Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada, Puerto Rico, etc improve enough so that they don't get blown out by every other team if invited to GC. I'd also echo the previous comment that this time, at least the groups are pretty balanced and it looks like the best 6 should make the Hex.
