Re: Alex Ferguson and Kenny Dalglish walk into a bar - The OTT Don't sign the dotted line then. No one is forcing Tevez to earn a living as a footballer. "Article 18 [“Specificity of Football”] of the Employment Contract, which provides that : “The parties hereto confirm and acknowledge that this contract[,] the rights and obligations undertaken by the parties hereto and the fixed term period thereof reflect the special relationship and characteristics involved in the employment of football players and the participation by the parties in the game of football pursuant to the Rules and the parties accordingly agree that all matters of dispute in relation to the rights and obligations of the parties hereto and otherwise pursuant to the Rules including as to termination of this contract and any compensation payable in respect of termination or breach thereof shall be submitted to and the parties hereto accept the jurisdiction and all appropriate determinations of such tribunal panel or other body (including pursuant to any appeal therefrom) pursuant to the provisions of and in accordance with the procedures and practices under this contract and the Rules”" You also have a Clause 3.1.9 in which “The Player agrees [...] to observe the Rules [...]” [...] “‘the Rules’ shall mean the statutes and regulations of FIFA and UEFA the FA Rules the League Rules the Code of Practice and the Club Rules” In other news, Justin Bieber has now cast his love on Chelsea fans leaving a trial of heartbroken Barcelona fans. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddbal...akes-shock-jump-from-barcelona-to-chelsea-fan
Re: Alex Ferguson and Kenny Dalglish walk into a bar - The OTT You figure if he'd quit football tomorrow Manchester City wouldn't sue him? Also, let's not blow this thing out of proportion, this whole thing is like Cassano telling Capello he's an idiot, only that Mancini compared to Capello is like comparing Pan Kun to King Kong. It's up to the club to handle this correctly, and for all his fine italian garment, Mancini reacted like a dumbass by saying that Tevez will never play for Manchester City again, then a week later saying that it's up to the club if he'll play again (maybe the club decides who's in the starting 11 then?), then backpedaling even further a week ago saying Tevez would play again if he'd say "sorry". Speaking of Cassano, his case was so much worse, but we handled it brilliantly, we even won a League title with him on the team!
Hahahaha. Lots of rumors of Farfan leaving Schalke and Schalke signing Arshavin either now, or in the summer.
Re: Alex Ferguson and Kenny Dalglish walk into a bar - The OTT "An established professional who has, in the course of the season, appeared in fewer than ten per cent of the official matches in which his club has been involved may terminate his contract prematurely on the ground of sporting just cause It's on a case-by-case-basis but he could get out. If he quit football all together it might be "just cause" if he agrees to never play it professional again. Whats the point of contracts if the players can just refuse to play and still get their salary? Anyways I don't really care about Tevez nor Man City and you are ofcourse entitled to your opinion in this. Wonder if Bieber had a chat with Drogba about how amazing Barcelona were against Chelsea in the semis
The kid is on fire. Had a amazing goal in de CL and is doing good at Benfica. He always does with Spain and it was obvious that the kid has talent. He reminds me of Higuain. I say if this guy keeps scoring goals like this, we should get him back.
I honestly don't mind the shirts if they wore a white shorts it wouldn't look bad IMO. For me, its the shirts, shorts and over the top socks that makes it over the top.
Cesc is a brat, can't believe how this guy still has his reputation intact. Must have a great publicist.
